Its because his striking is dogshit.
His primary style is grappling. Engaging in a striking exchange against someone like Malykhin would expose him too much. Malykhin trains in SAMBO, which is big on intercepting strikes and using them for takedowns.
Audiences see anatoly puching Rdr. what Rdr sees? = a fullspeed truck coming at his face😂
Rdr’s takedown attempts were very uncomfortable. Weird that he also kept going to the clinch while being way taller and having a far greater reach

RDR dropped at the first clean shot AM landed. RDR managed to evade, deflect and/or mitigate all the others - respect. RDR must be crazy to subject himself to AM after that. Fighting AM seems like a worse option than walking into a business end of a combine harvester 😂😂😂
