    I have been watching interviews with Ed O'niell the entire day now. I notice now that when he talks about the Hollywood industry he constantly forgets names. When he is talking about boxing however he can name all the fighters from the year1900 and up. That's funny to me

      Apparently Ed was just there to help Callen tell Ed's story...in between Callen telling his own stories.

    ufc 200 could have been so good. Jones v. Cormier, Connor v Nate, Lesnar v Hunt all on one card. I wonder if they just hid the fact lesnar tested positive until after the fight... if he and jones got pulled right before the card it would have been an utter disaster

    ed o'neill knows some shit. but its a joke when he says guys like larry holmes couldn't fight, or couldn't punch, etc. easy to say from a guy who never got in the ring. as a guy who's done some boxing and was very mediocre at it on the amateur level... boxing is tough as fuck. most of these bjj guys and mma guys go into boxing gyms where I was at, to improve there stand up. and basically all of them are shit at boxing. most of them even after some time are very rough, unskilled, etc. basically tons of amateur boxers at a low level would be good in pro mma when it comes to striking overall. of course they'd need a camp or two to learn some leg defense, etc. not saying they'd be great, but they'd hang in the low level pros. my point is that all o'neill knows is bjj really well, and what he remembers about old school boxing, that he is remembering with rose colored glasses on. guys like GGG, Kovolev, and Mayweather would kill anyone at their weight, in any era.. or at the very least be top guys still. and as far as heavyweights... I agree a lot of them lack skill nowadays, but at the top there is so much size and steroids, that a lot of the smaller skilled guys just get whipped out, or are in light heavy or cruiserweight. throughout history there has never been many super skilled boxing heavyweights that were 240 lbs or more. and to be fair to them, it's hard to move as much or as acrobatically at those weights. he's talking about guys like Marciano who weighed 190 lbs and comparing their movement to like wilder, who is 6'7 or some shit and weights 30+ lbs above that. of course he's going to be more awkward. compare Marciano to a guy his own weight, like roy jones or kovolev or something. or even andre ward, who before cutting weight is probably 170 or 180. all these guys would kill Marciano. and to be fair, a guy like Anthony Joshua is a beast against any man in any era. granted he's roided out of his mind, but to a certain extent, so was George foreman, shavers, Tyson, holyfield, tua, etc.

      I noticed the guest usually ignores the fact there's a microphone infront of them , while callen holds his in his hand right against his lips even when he's not talking. The mics aren't actually that bad. Just morons misusing them. In the words of will Sasso "Bryan can you back off the fucking mic a little!!"

    • @HATEMUSCLE
      @HATEMUSCLE 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Looks to me like they're using Electro Voice RE20s, which have been an industry standard microphone design for 40-something years. It's not the microphones. Chalk it up to user error and bad mixing (or shitty pre-amps).

    • @Chicas272
      @Chicas272 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes your right! ... what i meant to say is ... there set-up... They need to remove the crappy mic stands and replace them with mobile/easy adjustable stand.
