I had her first album, a cassette, entitled simply “Madonna” and listened to it excessively when I was stationed in Germany. I know every song, inside and out. If you want to see where she started it all I’d suggest watching her first video ever recorded “Everybody”. I believe it was filmed in her friends bar in NYC. It’s not an exciting video nor did a lot of money go into it BUT it gives me chills to see her at such a young age and to know what kind of mark she will leave on this world. It’s nice s to see what she started with and how she turned herself into a international ICON!! FYI, did I mention that I came out while I was in Germany? I wonder who helped me out with THAT!! Wow I didn’t even make that connection until just NOW! This must be why I love her and have been a fan since 1982! I love her, always have. The first time I heard her was in 1982 and I was 14 years old and I was hooked for life. She is the Queen of Reinvention. Love her or Hate her, she is a Legend and everyone including Britney and Lady Gaga and I love them both have to admit that Madonna paved the way. She payed the price. Everyone should she Erotica and Human Nature which both came out in the early 1990's when I was in my 20's and the press was really hard on her when she wanted to Express herself, and that was also a song from her in 1989.

This was the opening song to her MDNA Tour World Tour and it is an amazing live performance, with amazing dancers and complicated and dangerous choreography with the moving floor stage. MDNA album is electronic, club dancing heaven.
I love her, always have. The first time I heard her was in 1982 and I was 14 years old and I was hooked for life. She is the Queen of Reinvention. Love her or Hate her, she is a Legend and everyone including Britney and Lady Gaga and I love them both have to admit that Madonna paved the way. She payed the price. Everyone should she Erotica and Human Nature which both came out in the early 1990's when I was in my 20's and the press was really hard on her when she wanted to Express herself, and that was also a song from her in 1989.
