I still consider the Macho Man to this very day to be the blueprint of what all wrestlers should be he was the complete package high-flyer brawler technical genius flashy showman and can work the mic better than anyone the Macho Man is truly one of if not the greatest wrestler to ever live
But at the end of the day the reason I think Randy has connected to so many people in the world both inside and outside of wrestling - Randy is just a good hearted, hard working MoFo! He's an American Icon.
Thank you for featuring my favorite wrestler of all time in this series. I met Randy in 1996 and 1997 in Las Vegas for the Halloween Havoc ticket sale meet and greet. As a baby face in 1996, he shook my hand and thanked me when I said I followed him from WWF. As a heel in 1997, he recognized me and gave me nod, while not breaking character. I’m curious as to why his hall of fame induction was left out of this video as his exclusion was a sore subject for years, especially after his death. I was in San Jose for his induction and it was very emotional for me. Great work, Cultaholic. Class content.
The Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion. No one said that like him. Charisma, entertainment, technical wrestling skills and his unique verbage. He was and still is THE BEST.
@The Unknown How is Sting not in the same class as the Macho Man? Don't get me wrong Savage is one of the all time greats and set the standard for future stars but Sting was the franchise in WCW with multiple title reigns and was a pillar of the Monday Night Wars. He was a main event highlight in TNA (The joker thing was a bit shite tbf) but he has always been a major player in any promotion he has worked in. If WWE had handled him differently and booked him for a better angle he probably could have had a decent run before capping his career off and retiring for good. We all know how WWE like to treat WCW guys so I doubt they would have billed him properly after his initial debut but that Taker vs Sting angle could have been amazing. If this series is talking about wrestlers who's careers where "captivating" then surely The Stinger should be in that conversation??
Alundra Blayze speech during the HoF when she said how it was an honor to be in the same HoF class of Randy Savage really reminded me of how incredible he was. People always remember HH but Randy was just incredible at the time
This is fantastic. I’d forgotten how important all of this was to me as a child. Priceless memories that I didn’t know I held on to. I’m hitting the subscribe with genuine anticipation. Thank you:)
If you haven't heard Macho Man's Rap Album, "Be a Man", do yourself a favor and listen to it! Haha. It's still one of my favorite guilty pleasure albums of all time. His collaboration with the Legendary DJ Kool was a real banger!
Man this Hogan guy kills me, always wanting to be put over. No wonder a lot of wrestlers hated him and some still to this day. Great series though, keep it coming
I was a huge Macho Man fan as a kid and I will always remember when he won the heavyweight title at WrestleMania 4 in a tournament which seen him defeat Ted Dibiasi in the final match
Get around everyone's favourite er... football legend, "Olay" Anderson … Anderson! In all seriousness, quality video as always lads. Appreciate all the work you guys and gals do!
Randy Savage And Hulk Hogan story is like Cm Punk and John Cena With CM Punk as Savage and Cena as Hogan Punk and Savage even as champions were always overshadowed by Hogan and Cena
Mike Debrocky , Dude while both Punk and Savage’s title runs , Hogan and Cena were the ones actually main eventing Another classic example is WM 8 , When Hogan vs Sid was the main event rather than Savage vs Flair ..
@@shauryajain1393 wasn't it a double main event? Savage was great, even elite if you want, but make no mistake, he was not hulk hogan. There's a reason Hulk Hogan was main eventing all those years. Not even Flair, had a prime like Hogan had.
You skipped over his rather sizable career as a voice-over artist. I mean, he did act a bit, but he lent his voice to a good number of projects while wrestling and well after he retired. It's a bit disappointing that it was left out, especially because he had such a distinct voice to begin with.
Savage matched skill and psychology, narcissism and insecurity, anger and comedy. Truly one of my all time favorites.
I still consider the Macho Man to this very day to be the blueprint of what all wrestlers should be he was the complete package high-flyer brawler technical genius flashy showman and can work the mic better than anyone the Macho Man is truly one of if not the greatest wrestler to ever live
Agree!
@@thomasroedgaard117 when you build the perfect wrestler if he doesn't at least look a little like savage youre doing it wrong
Agree! One of the all time greatest intercontinental and world champions. An icon in the business.
A God of wrestling and legend immortal, Macho Madness is forever!!!
No doudt about it. The greatest of all time
RIP Macho Man. You are still missed.
This is such a great series
Thank you cultaholic
If Animal from The Muppets was a real person, he’d be Macho Man.
Hilarious!! Lol
If Animal & Wolverine had a baby, it would grow up to be Macho Man...Oh YEAH!!
Really? I figure that he would be bruiser brody
😭😭😭😭😂😂😂😂
Totally
But at the end of the day the reason I think Randy has connected to so many people in the world both inside and outside of wrestling - Randy is just a good hearted, hard working MoFo! He's an American Icon.
Macho is definitely on the Mt. Rushmore of wrestling.
And Santino Marella 😂😂😂
No doubt
Instead of hogan
The undertaker anywhere, or will he be inducted in time?
@You Ain’t Shit thats 5 dawg

GREAT video Jack. Really like this series, please keep them coming
