Where he'll presumably pass the practice down to his descendants, eventually resulting in Cynthia traumatizing you in the first place!
I think they just re-used the model for Cynthia's garchomp. Nice noticing tho, nerd! I would have never seen that. I forgot they were obsessed with adding all these small gender differences in gen IV.

So yeah it's almost certainly a mistake both times. But the idea of a lineage of time-traveling piano-playing Garchomps stalking you across hundreds of years to traumatize you with Cynthia's theme is more fun.
For some reason I can imagine Volo enjoying seeing the trainer get burned by a Hyper Beam. And then he would turn around and patch them up like a doctor.
I like to think that this song is passed down from generations , and every single member of cynthia's family tree and their pokemon knows a different version of it as they alter it to represent themselves better
Then why doesn't Cogita have a theme? Maybe we'll meet her in Pokemon Legends Kyurem, in the place Undella Town is supposed to be, and a TERRIFYING version of Cynthia's battle theme plays
I'm convinced when there's the red eye at the top of the screen when you've been spotted by something violent yet nothing is there it was just Volo, and always will be Volo just stalking you out of gosh dang curiosity
The only reason *any* of Volo's pokemon can play instruments despite *none* of them should be able to in the first place is because Volo uses the powers of the Song of His People.
I wish we got more stuff about her grandmother and sister (her sister seems to only exist in the games), but most versions of her grandmother including the show and two mangas have her as a sassy lady (honestly, Professor Carolina was one of the highlights of the dull Galactic arc and I felt like she was about five minutes away from openly flirting with Cyrus).

And in the full version, we see Dawn surviving Snorlax using Hyper Beam on her with no injuries whatsoever, showing that Pokémon can't attack humans, and then near the end, we see Dawn getting turned into Rowlet, and other humans getting turned into other Pokémon, showing that this isn't Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl anymore and that this is now Pokémon Legends Arceus, and then we see Snorlax using Hyper Beam again on the now turned Rowlet, but with Rowlet not making it through because she fainted, showing that because you're a Pokémon, you can get attacked by other Pokémon in Pokémon Legends Arceus, and then the video finally ends.

Seeing a full version of Volo and his team playing his theme would be awesome
And in the full version, we see Dawn surviving Snorlax using Hyper Beam on her with no injuries whatsoever, showing that Pokémon can't attack humans, and then near the end, we see Dawn getting turned into Rowlet, and other humans getting turned into other Pokémon, showing that this isn't Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl anymore and that this is now Pokémon Legends Arceus, and then we see Snorlax using Hyper Beam again on the now turned Rowlet, but with Rowlet not making it through because she fainted, showing that because you're a Pokémon, you can get attacked by other Pokémon in Pokémon Legends Arceus, and then the video finally ends.

I love how the protag was about to perform a backstrike on the Snorlax when Volo showed up to explain what a backstrike is and probably blew her cover in the process
And then we see Snorlax using Hyper Beam on Dawn, but off-camera after the clip ends, Dawn survived with no injuries whatsoever, showing that Pokémon can't attack humans.
