Hi Dan. Happy New Year! I see you're having another hard day at your Sandy Point branch office...... haha! Great looking boat..... Nice fitout Cheers S
G'day, Dan. You've always been helpful in pointing out the cleverness of the Beneteau group's designs. And as here, you've also made the point that some boats are - somewhat at least - "time machines", transporting folks to new destinations & experiences easily and relatively quickly. This seems to be another one of those boats.
Gday Jack! Look forward to the update on your next boat? Yeah I reckon that’s a big part of the excitement for a style of boat like this. Provided you are the type of person that wants to stay onboard you’ll get value from it
Wow that would be crazy haha… I reckon she’d go just fine with a pair of Mercury V10 400’s on the back. Actually that would be a very sensible option as you could get a better toy garage and shallow water access… check out the GT36 with outboards for inspiration
@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife Love any Boats, my dad built Mach I and Envision Boats in Monmouth Illinois for 36 years. Mid Sixties to 1996. Built a lot of low profile go fast and Mach I was more of a family boat from 14-29. Envision were 24-37 go fast. Dad was great friends with Reggie Fountain back in the day. You're explanations and testing are great, really enjoy your videos. Thanks Brian Felt
Depends on the region of the world i'm in, the driving experience I desire, and my mission for the boat. A GT41 feels a lot different at the helm compared to a SUV so depending on what you're looking for you would want to consider a few of the variables. Also brand recognition and therefore re-sale will be better for Riv in some parts of the world and better for Beneteau in others...
Yes that’s a good comparison. I haven’t seen much happening with Bavaria in Aus lately so would need to get my hands on a boat. I know them very well as I sold Bavaria Yachts 20yrs ago and been to their factory in Germany and everything
Good spotting! You make a great point actually. Yes these were LED so I wasn’t worried but it absolutely would cause a fire if it was one of those old fashioned hot lights. I might start mentioning that now you made me think of it. Thanks 🙏
So this boat is designed for short high speed runs of as little as a few miles to up for a few hundred miles. It’s best used in one geographic location to explore on weekends and have little holidays. For crossing oceans you are better served by trawlers and also sailing yachts

Smart launching this before the Fairline targa40 starts showing up, cant wait!
That Fairline does look very interesting.
They build a hell of a boat, and there design team is awesome 😎💯. Imagine if it had Quad 600 OBs?

I wish it had V-Drives then I’d buy it.
Beautiful. But would you buy one of these over a five year old Riviera SUV?

Would be nice to compare this with the new Bavaria SR41 HT.

This might just be the perfect size & style of boat for me. Spot on. How much?
So price is in the description in AUD but you will need to contact your local dealer if you’re outside Australia
@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife oops. Only saw the title. Didn’t expand the description. Thanks.
Around 14:30 it looks like the reading lamp is touching the pillow...; I guess it's only LED but seems risky still..! 🙄
