Fantastic stuff! Not enough Niagara tutorials out yet, and this was well paced, spoken, and delivered. Look forward to hopefully more.
My life saved by a video from 3 years ago
Great to hear. Why are these videos getting so many views now though? Are you part of a new college class using Unreal or something?
@@DevEnabled Yes but we are the only team that using UE, so i think it's not my school that increase your views. But thank you anyway among hundreds tutorial channels, You and Gorka Games channel are the best UE teachers.
God bless You!!!
Thanks for the Scale Colour emissive trick! That was exactly what I was looking for.
Great tutorial 🔥
Particle systems can be played again by pressing "Shift" + "/" in the level editor.
this is best tutorial for an intro to Niagra on the net!!! I seen a bunch but this is only one that explains it correctly thanks
Thanks and glad to hear it helped. Hopefully, I'll get the chance to cover some more soon.
@@DevEnabled that would be awesome
Thank you!
*Dev Enabled* Love from planet Neptune
Loved the video! Thanks a lot! I'm a newbie in UE4 and this collision thing for FXs is new to me, learned a new trick whoohoo!
Glad it helped!
@@DevEnabled I think you did awesome explaining creating the effect, there's not a lot of tutorials covering Niagra and I want to learn it, any avice where to start? Do you plan on putting more tutorials like this? Thanks for replaying!
@@SirB3ast Thanks, it's definitely something I want to spend more time learning some more interesting effects. I'm currently making a small game which is using some Niagara effects I haven't created before so I'll try and convert those into a tutorial in the near future.
Absolutely fantastic stuff. Thank you for doing these :)
Awesome. It's really great content that we need. Thank you
Please do more tutorials like this.
Awesome, seen way too many hit effects in the market place that are over priced and subpar in quality. This is a great alternative!
Thank you. I'll be taking some time soon to work on some more effects and new videos covering them.
Really nice and well explained, thank you
How did you change UE layout style (title bar colors and tabs)? Did you use a plugin to do this?
Awesome tutorial, thank you!! I also really liked the grid material you show in the scene. Was that made from a tiled image texture?
Thank you. The material is actually a really stripped back version of the one provided in the Super Grid pack on the Marketplace. I definitely haven required the full material but something like this is super useful for prototyping.
@@DevEnabled Awesome, thank you so much!
Great video, thanks! Any easy way to make the particles black like dirt? When I decrease the luminosity they just disappear
Thank You!
Hi, I Cannot Drag My Niagra Emitter Into The View Port, It Doesn't Allow Me To Add It
did you find answer? i can't too
@@user-or5bq6md5g yeah, i think you have to create it correctly, like it has to be some form of emitter thats add able or else it wont work with the game itself
Thank you!
Question: is there any advantage to creating an Emitter first, then creating a System using that Emitter, when you could simply create a System using the same template from the beginning? That way you just have the one file instead of two. Thanks again.
Niagara Rules!
Did anyone else get an error "Can't Play in Editor when performing Edit SparkColor operation" when trying to change the SparkColor parameter from within the editor?
Hi. I can't find User Exposed in right side(Edit Value) I mean I don't have my new Liner color in library
Can you please tell how to attach this effect to sword clash?
hello, thanks for the tutorial, however, I am having problems with this in sequencer by getting this to spark at certain moments, if i try using a trigger option it doesnt work and everything else i try also doesnt get it to show up. Any ideas?
I timed my animation with a stop watch I needed the sparks to hit every 7 seconds and in the emitter update under emitter state change loop duration to 7 seconds, hope that helps you or anyone else one year later ...lol
hi is it possible to let the sparks split up into smaller sparks if they hit collision with anything? i guess thats the biggest problem for make it look realisitc
i can"t find Uniform Ranged Int(
im from future and they fixed it :)
