I just finished this book and I LOVE it 🥹 (spoiler alert) I did find the death of Sky’s dad a little too much as well but I think it kind of make sense after… because we learn that he also did that for years to his sister and again to Les and I think he kind of "realized" everything he did and all the pain he caused at that moment and he also wanted to play the victim card in all of so I guess this is why (in my opinion) he decided to kill himself in front of her. Maybe she would feel pity or sadness thinking about him afterwards thanks to that, instead of just disgust and hate. Which didn’t work of course but I think it was his goal by doing that like that. But anyway, thank you for this video I think it’s very clear and not too long😁 (sorry if my comment is a bit messy but i’m french so my english is not perfect hahah)

Rereading this because I literally forgot how amazing this is !!!!
It’s definitely worth the reread!
@@EmilyIsCozy yep!! Thanks for your review !!
I didn’t cry in Hopeless however I did ball in Losing Hope. I found Dean’s perspective was better in my opinion.
Can’t wait to read it!
