That scion frs is quick as hell with that supercharger kit on it, too bad you had boost leak otherwise you would’ve kept up more regardless of babying the car a bit
U could have definitely pushed the FD harder. Seems like u were babying it a bit. That FRS should not be able to pull away from u the way it was in the straights, regardless beautiful car, great video keep up the good work my friend.

Rotaries burn oil by design, sometimes the stock oil metering pump (OMP) fails and when it does work-- the spray from the OMP is inconsistent and will actually fail to lubricate the rotor housings fully. In order to over come this issue, we will premix our fuel and oil together so that way as fuel is sent into the housing, it lubes up the rotor housing walls promoting longer apex seal, corner seal and rotor housing life.
Also what are your air temps? I have a home made v- mount and never see anything above 10 over ambient while moving. And you should be faster than that frs.
@@Kevin-vg4hu Waaay over ambient lol. I reached 77c at most. Ambient is supposed to be 30-35c from what I've seen from other cars. I should definitely be faster yes but my 2nd turbo has a leak only outputting 7ish psi-- So i have to get that sorted out!
@@saidaigarage makes a big difference. Not sure what you have for intakes but i have a set of apexi intakes that have the emissions ports deleted if you are interested
@@saidaigarage yeah its your intake set up. You’re sucking in hot air from the radiator. Your best bet with stock intercooler is to run the stock airbox. The fans are just throwing hot air from the radiator onto those cone filters, so you’re probably decreasing power bc the intercooler can’t keep up.
77c air intake temperature roughly 90c water. What kind of car are you driving and is that 100 your water or your air temp? 100c is pretty bad and overheating for an rx7 regardless of water or air. Lol

The car has a boost leak in its second turbo only outputting 6-7 psi. That in combination to the stock intercooler not being able to keep up with the heat generated by the turbos is why I am not revving the car out to its optimal power band.

Yup. V mount is the way to go- this upgrade is a costly one but is definitely worth putting good money into.

Switch the oils you’re using. Run valvoline vr1 10w30 or 20w50 for motor oil and klotz super techniplate for premix oil.
