This is great! Most countries are adapting this all around the world! Its clean, less tasking and safe! Kenya is doing this too, all i need is to carry my phone when i leave the house, i love it😁.

I set up we chat and alipay without a Chinese number, just linked a credit card through our local Serbian phone number (but I haven't completed the complete authorization for the offered limit, I don't think I need it for a tourist visit). Also we don't need a Chinese visa, and two mobile Chinese operators allow us to use mobile internet without a Chinese e-SIM card.

it's convenient to the point that you feel you're going back in time when you travel almost anywhere else. Having to still bring your wallet when you're out and about is not what's up 😂.
Hi thanks for the video. I am going to China this September. I have applied alipay and wechat pay. I dont think i can get my mobile phone online in China. Can I use alipay a d wechat pay without my phone to be online ?
I have to be honest here. In every (other) country I've traveled to, I've used ApplePay on my phone and never had an issue. I don't go out with a wallet. It's the same and maybe even quicker. Also it's almost impossible to link a foreign card to WeChat/ Alipay. If other countries removed the cash option like China did, they would be the same.
I linked my Mastercard (Belgium) to my Alipay account and it doesn’t work to make payments, my boyfriend has the same card and it works for him😢 any advice?

You can always use cash, it's required for all stores to accept cash. Most shops have change available, but using cash at small vendors might be inconvenient since they may not have change ready. Therefore, it’s often easier for you to use mobile payments.

every store has to accept cash payment, but it‘s not that convenient like using online paying. But I think credit card acts the same way and its only drawback is not all bills available in time to check on your online bank, coz monthly bills usually.
Wow, Cashless, how convenient instead of digging in your purse/pocket for money. I was visited there in 2012 and my, how forward they are now. US better catch up.
For us in Europe, the economic role model is Germany, which is a society that still loves cash. Estonia is the country that has gone the furthest in Europe when it comes to digital identities and blockchain technology.
Out of curiosity, do you come from a family with a christian background and if you do, does this not startle you that you are paying with your head and hand? Others don't judge I just like hearing peoples thoughts who are living it
0:09 You are wrong. Do your research first. China is not a completely cashless country. Convenience and safe? The answer is yes. Chinese law requires all businesses to accept cash. Whether the stores or vendors are able to give you back exact change is another story.
I never said that cash isn't accepted. I didn't say that China is completely cashless. WHAT I said is: "MAYBE you have HEARD that China is completely cashless...." There is a difference.

Actually, government regulations are that they have to take your cash money, tho. Basically, you could pay with cash, it's simply not that convenient.
Yup! But sometimes they don't have the correct change to give you unless you pay the exact amount in cash
