So nice to see companies paying a fair wage and thoughtful to employees and giving them hotels in freezing weather. It seems strange since our world became so crazy that this is refreshing to see.
Bob can you also do a video for job opportunities for people that have disabilities or seniors? Office work, answering phone line, website work, ect. Love to find a company like this that works with people with disabilities. Thanks for all the hard work you and the crew do for the community.😁

Digikey is amazing. I'm in eastern Canada. I've placed an order at 5PM, and by 10:30AM the next morning parts have arrived that came out of the US.

I am with the disability crowd also. We often have great work ethics, integrity and give 110% of our capabilities! We might need a little flexibility with a few things; mainly number of hours per shift but rarely will a company be disappointed in hiring us!!

Wow...Im fighting back the tears of joy for those who will cease this opportunity. Those who will be living in the camp grounds will make life long friends and learn from each other, kinda like an RTR gathering. The earned money will help so many to become financially secure, to have a good emergency fund. I thought Digi-Key sounded familiar, I just looked them up. Working there is going to be a dream come true for so many nomads. When they leave, they will have a completely renovated/cutting edge electronics system in their RV. They have tons of items that the Nomad community will find valuable. Have fun guys!

Pick and pack jobs are awesome for getting in great physical condition after laying around in a van for months. My fingertips could lift a piano; after doing that kind of work.
is it constantly demanding? i'm so desiring to do it but i've been off work for 2 years and questioning my ability is it constantly lifting heavy stuff?
@@jennifersmith8900 - It's harder than day old French bread, that's for sure. They are firm but fair with the rules. You work or you hit the bricks. They only want hard workers.
@@Tom-Travels i have no problem pulling my fair share of work ,its the lifting i may have issues with due to disabilities so i may have to sit this one out darn it. i would in a heart beat if i knew i could handle it never been afraid of pulling my weight tho
@@jennifersmith8900, there is consistent movement involved, and if you’re motivated, you will become accustomed soon enough. Also, being able to take showers will help ease the muscles.

Bringing a positive opinion. Disability does not mean unable to work. It may mean working fewer hours. Working with support or extra education.

I'm just seeing this in mid-July and am not yet traveling on the road as I still work full time in a school. Had I been ready to move into full-time van life I would definitely jump on this opportunity. What a great company to work for.
Digikey is a great supplier.. now I know they're also a great employer. They just went to the top of my list for electronics suppliers.

Hello! We currently have campground that are a half mile from campus and as far as 14 miles from campus. As we get more and more people though the commute distance will continue to increase - so get your app in soon!

Another intermittent job opportunity is Catastrophic Insurance Adjusting. It involves preparing insurance claims for victims of natural disasters. It pays very well, and lasts for a few weeks to months after a natural disaster.

When there are disasters, the insurance companies are desperate for these workers because they are in a time crunch to care for so many customers so quickly. I’m sure that it could be researched online.

Thanks for the info! I had a phone interview yesterday and was offered a position. I hope to be heading to Minnesota in a few days. I have to be there by the 24th. Im hoping to be able to carpool from the campground to Digikey as I'm not bringing a toad. I'm suppose to be in a campground close by although I haven't received my offer letter with that information yet. Thanks so much, Bob for passing on this info.

Would be nice to see these companies set up kitchen areas for people. Lots of counter space, hot running water. Several sinks, Electricity. its own separate unit on separate area.
So glad I found this. Sounds like just what I'm looking for but not for summer. I'm needing a place to work & live for the winter while my camper undergoes some repairs in KY. Its still under warranty. Want to leave after my daughter's Oct.2nd wedding. I wonder if the hotel will allow me to have my 2 small dogs with me?

I'm struggling with the hand held device at my current job , I felt like I was the only one having this issue .
Repetition is a great teacher. You’ll be using it without effort in time.
Keep affirming to yourself how easy it is and how it makes the job easier and helps the company grow which in turn helps you.

It's not USING the device that's hard. It's holding the device for 8 hours a day. Great strain on delicate joints , tendons, and carpal tunnels.
