    I rarely say this, but this video may well kill someone, or worse, many people.
    Ball park numbers, Air is about 1kg/m3 and is at room temperature (~300 Kelvin)
    Dry ice is about -88C (212 Kelvin, 44g./mol, comparable to air). Practically this means to lower the room temperature by 10C means the final atmosphere will be about 10 % carbon dioxide.
    That will be fatal in about 30 minutes.

    • @ZauStuv
      @ZauStuv 10 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      No, you'll get that temperature by using less dry ice than 10% of the atmosphere (after evaporization), because of the enthalpy.
      It takes away extra heat from the envinorment to change the consistency of the dry ice from a solid to a gas.

      gelyn miranda English is not my first language, so I'm not sure about the names (I used google translator), but by the amount of energy needed for the consistency change, I basically meant the definition what you said. Enthalpy is the overall energy of a closed system.

    I recommend using a bag of normal ice on top of a grid in the bucket. Then place the fan underneath a hole in the bucket. This should make cool air too and since the ice is in a waterproof bag, it should not be dangerous for the fan. Dry ice is a bit dangerous if used indoors.
