As the respected speaker mentioned in this video,Imam Mahdi would be from the Progeny Of Prophet Muhammad pbuh,and Imam Mahdi is from the lineage of The Daughter Of Prophet Muhammad pbuh,Hazrat Fatima s.a! Hazrat Fatima s.a was married to Hazrat Ali a.s,and they were blessed with 3 children,Hazrat Hasan a.s and Hazrat Hussain a.s (sons),and daughter Hazrat Zainab s.a! After Hazrat Fatima passed away,Hazrat Ali married a lady from the Tribe Of Bani Hashim,her name was Um Al Baneen,and they were blessed with,I'm not sure how many children in total,but two children are mentioned alot specially in history,their names are Hazrat Abbas a.s (son), Hazrat Kulsoom s.a (daughter)! So basically according to the Shia belief which is the correct belief Alhamdulillah,we have Faith that Hazrat Ali a.s IS the rightful successor,leader Chosen By Allah,for the Muslim Ummah! Why? Allah alone has knowledge of the Ghayb. Allah bestowed SOME of the Ghayb upon His Prophets Alaihimus Salaam. Nabi Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam has given some indications to the environment the Mahdi will arrise in. Truly we are living in the end times but nobody can say with certainty. However most people seen to agree that it is soon due to the prophecies of Al-Ghouta being attacked etc... we should ask ourselves more importantly, what have we done to prepare for the Hereafter ? And fair enough , we should physically and spiritually strengthen ourselves always to be in the best shape were things to go bad all of a sudden.
