imam mahdi is a sign of the nearness of the approach of the day of judgement and not that it will be literally judgement day. There will be many decades and perhaps centuries before the blowing of the first trumpet marking "The Hour" when all that Allah Wills will be annihilated. That will be followed some time after by a second blowing of the trumpet when Resurrection occurs and the creation is gathered for judgement; this is the "Day of Judgement".

It is not neccesary to say salaam upon him . What is neccesary is that us as muslims love and Allah ta’ala and the messenger Alayhi salaam , and when the mahdi becomes the mahdi, he will not want anyone to send salaams upon him. And when the mahdi comes , most of the people in the comments will not even support him. Only the true believers will , most of this ummah will be fooled by dajjal.
Assalaam, if anyone can reply, there seems to be two stories about the Mahdi on the channel here- this 1 here where an army comes to him but is swallowed up in the desert by Allahs command, and another where the speaker says that he will be compelled to flee from Madinah to Mecca and there, at the Ka’aba one of the Muslim armies will be looking to target him but when they reach the Ka’aba, Allah will destroy the army without any casualties and with the Mahdi unharmed, basically the army will not succeed. With these two stories are you saying they will both happen or are you cancelling one out for the other? (Granted I’ll revisit this topic in the future and do further reading) thanks!

These hadiths are not saheeh, most of the hadiths about mahdi have been corrupted over time, there are only maybe 4 or 5 saheeh hadiths about mahdi, so you shouldnt believe these hadith with full certainty, what we know is that all the other minor sighns before mahdi are completed , so he will be making his appearance in our life time, he is alive, he even watches these videos, but Allah ta’ala hasnt prepared him yet . Dajjal is also is in chains waiting his release, believe it or nor, the mahdi actually seen the dajjal when he was a baby, but he didnt kill him, instead he said, your death is written by an honourable man, easa alayhi salaam. We have made that which is on earth as an adornment for it, in order that We may test them (mankind) as to which of them are best in deeds. [i.e. those who do good deeds in the most perfect manner, that means to do them (deeds) totally for Allah's sake and in accordance to the legal ways of the Prophet SAW]. وَإِنَّا لَجَاعِلُونَ مَا عَلَيْهَا صَعِيدًا جُرُزًا Wainna lajaAAiloona ma AAalayha saAAeedan juruzan And verily! We shall make all that is on it (the earth) a bare dry soil (without any vegetation or trees, etc.). أَمْ حَسِبْتَ أَنَّ أَصْحَابَ الْكَهْفِ وَالرَّقِيمِ كَانُوا مِنْ آيَاتِنَا عَجَبًا Am hasibta anna ashaba alkahfi waalrraqeemi kanoo min ayatina AAajaban Do you think that the people of the Cave and the Inscription (the news or the names of the people of the Cave) were a wonder among Our Signs? إِذْ أَوَى الْفِتْيَةُ إِلَى الْكَهْفِ فَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا Ith awa alfityatu ila alkahfi faqaloo rabbana atina min ladunka rahmatan wahayyi lana min amrina rashadan (Remember) when the young men fled for refuge (from their disbelieving folk) to the Cave, they said: "Our Lord! Many version about how the Mahdi Will come and rule the world. The term "the guided one" means that he will not a 'regular person', but an educated and blessed or scholars it self. No matter how long times he gained his knowledge about the existence of Mahdi. So it not logical when he, after get a "ilm" from Allah to be a Mahdi, then not knowing about himself? He should have known and recognozed himself even before get bai'at by muslim scholars. What about 'he refuted the bai'at?. Its not about what he didn't know, but more about his humble, and lets time realized and muslims united about his mission.

I thought the Hadith says if you see the army coming from Khorosan with black flags then you should run to join it even if you have to crawl over ice to get there. imam mahdi is a sign of the nearness of the approach of the day of judgement and not that it will be literally judgement day. There will be many decades and perhaps centuries before the blowing of the first trumpet marking "The Hour" when all that Allah Wills will be annihilated. That will be followed some time after by a second blowing of the trumpet when Resurrection occurs and the creation is gathered for judgement; this is the "Day of Judgement".

I cannot stand when people say MAHDI without including salaams for him. This is our leader SHOW SOME RESPECT.
It is not neccesary to say salaam upon him . What is neccesary is that us as muslims love and Allah ta’ala and the messenger Alayhi salaam , and when the mahdi becomes the mahdi, he will not want anyone to send salaams upon him. And when the mahdi comes , most of the people in the comments will not even support him. Only the true believers will , most of this ummah will be fooled by dajjal.

Assalaam, if anyone can reply, there seems to be two stories about the Mahdi on the channel here- this 1 here where an army comes to him but is swallowed up in the desert by Allahs command, and another where the speaker says that he will be compelled to flee from Madinah to Mecca and there, at the Ka’aba one of the Muslim armies will be looking to target him but when they reach the Ka’aba, Allah will destroy the army without any casualties and with the Mahdi unharmed, basically the army will not succeed. With these two stories are you saying they will both happen or are you cancelling one out for the other? (Granted I’ll revisit this topic in the future and do further reading) thanks!

These hadiths are not saheeh, most of the hadiths about mahdi have been corrupted over time, there are only maybe 4 or 5 saheeh hadiths about mahdi, so you shouldnt believe these hadith with full certainty, what we know is that all the other minor sighns before mahdi are completed , so he will be making his appearance in our life time, he is alive, he even watches these videos, but Allah ta’ala hasnt prepared him yet . Dajjal is also is in chains waiting his release, believe it or nor, the mahdi actually seen the dajjal when he was a baby, but he didnt kill him, instead he said, your death is written by an honourable man, easa alayhi salaam. Dont sit everyday and wait, continue your life, and trust Allah ta’ala. Just know that these are end times

(He has made it) Straight to give warning (to the disbelievers) of a severe punishment from Him, and to give glad tidings to the believers (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), who work righteous deeds, that they shall have a fair reward (i.e. Paradise).
مَّاكِثِينَ فِيهِ أَبَدًا
Makitheena feehi abadan
They shall abide therein forever.
وَيُنذِرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ وَلَدًا
Wayunthira allatheena qaloo ittakhatha Allahu waladan
And to warn those (Jews, Christians, and pagans) who say, "Allah has begotten a son (or offspring or children)."
مَّا لَهُم بِهِ مِنْ عِلْمٍ وَلَا لِآبَائِهِمْ كَبُرَتْ كَلِمَةً تَخْرُجُ مِنْ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ إِن يَقُولُونَ إِلَّا كَذِبًا
Ma lahum bihi min AAilmin wala liabaihim kaburat kalimatan takhruju min afwahihim in yaqooloona illa kathiban
No knowledge have they of such a thing, nor had their fathers. Mighty is the word that comes out of their mouths [i.e. He begot (took) sons and daughters]. They utter nothing but a lie.
فَلَعَلَّكَ بَاخِعٌ نَّفْسَكَ عَلَىٰ آثَارِهِمْ إِن لَّمْ يُؤْمِنُوا بِهَٰذَا الْحَدِيثِ أَسَفًا
FalaAAallaka bakhiAAun nafsaka AAala atharihim in lam yuminoo bihatha alhadeethi asafan
Perhaps, you, would kill yourself (O Muhammad SAW) in grief, over their footsteps (for their turning away from you), because they believe not in this narration (the Quran).
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا مَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ زِينَةً لَّهَا لِنَبْلُوَهُمْ أَيُّهُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا
Inna jaAAalna ma AAala alardi zeenatan laha linabluwahum ayyuhum ahsanu AAamalan
Verily! We have made that which is on earth as an adornment for it, in order that We may test them (mankind) as to which of them are best in deeds. [i.e. those who do good deeds in the most perfect manner, that means to do them (deeds) totally for Allah's sake and in accordance to the legal ways of the Prophet SAW].
وَإِنَّا لَجَاعِلُونَ مَا عَلَيْهَا صَعِيدًا جُرُزًا
Wainna lajaAAiloona ma AAalayha saAAeedan juruzan
And verily! We shall make all that is on it (the earth) a bare dry soil (without any vegetation or trees, etc.).
أَمْ حَسِبْتَ أَنَّ أَصْحَابَ الْكَهْفِ وَالرَّقِيمِ كَانُوا مِنْ آيَاتِنَا عَجَبًا
Am hasibta anna ashaba alkahfi waalrraqeemi kanoo min ayatina AAajaban Do you think that the people of the Cave and the Inscription (the news or the names of the people of the Cave) were a wonder among Our Signs?
إِذْ أَوَى الْفِتْيَةُ إِلَى الْكَهْفِ فَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا
Ith awa alfityatu ila alkahfi faqaloo rabbana atina min ladunka rahmatan wahayyi lana min amrina rashadan
(Remember) when the young men fled for refuge (from their disbelieving folk) to the Cave, they said: "Our Lord! Bestow on us mercy from Yourself, and facilitate for us our affair in the right way!"

He is mixing it up. The ones who get swallowed up are probably Shias and the hadith says they are from Syria, not the east. the black flags are with the Mahdi according to hadith.

The term "the guided one" means that he will not a 'regular person', but an educated and blessed or scholars it self. No matter how long times he gained his knowledge about the existence of Mahdi.

Did the sheikh accidentally say something wrong or am I ignorant… I thought the army that gets swallowed is not the same as the army with black flags. I thought the Hadith says if you see the army coming from Khorosan with black flags then you should run to join it even if you have to crawl over ice to get there.
