Swami Ranganathananda was a Hindu swami of the Ramakrishna Math order and the 13th president of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission. Born in 1908 in Kerala, he dedicated his life to spiritual teachings and the welfare of others, serving in various leadership roles within the Ramakrishna Mission. He was a renowned scholar, authoring over 50 books and giving lectures around the world on Indian spiritual culture. Swami Ranganathananda passed away in 2005, leaving a lasting legacy of spiritual guidance and social service.

Rajiv was educated at the Universities of Delhi, Oxford & Columbia.
Today Rajiv serves as the Secretary & Trustee of the Foundation for Universal Responsibility of HH The Dalai Lama, established with the Nobel Peace Prize. He has been a student of His Holiness for more than forty years.
