Get rid of the graffiti and grime. Prosecute the vandals. Bologna deserves much better than that. Seeing the preserved medieval buildings is wonderful. It distinguishes the city from places like Rome.
I will be making a day trip to Bologna in April. But from YT videos I have seen, there does not seem to be any interesting attractions to see. Bologna seems dirty and old. Maybe I should skip the day trip, especially the high speed train fares are not cheap.
