Wild Plays Games the reason is because the pros use the best equipment. Using a super low input lag monitor like BenQ at 120hz+ on a ethernet connection will give you a massive advantage over the average player. So big in fact that you can spot players a few frames before they spot you, almost making it feel like you’re attacking bots.

Same here, my best game was 19/22. This game is actually tough but I really like it and I'm having a blast playing. Just wish people would play Rush cause I really want to play it but there are no servers for it

Really wish they gave the Hellriegel the 20 round stick magazine from real life then the Defensive the 60 round drum version to make it more balanced.

Sean O' Donoghue no, the real life drum magazine was attached to the gun via a flexible chute making it near impossible for run and gun because the magazine had to rest on a surface next to the gun. However it is possible that the in game magazine is modeled after the real one, dice just added a fixed connection to the gun rather than the chute.

I see the assault as more of an anti-vehicle class which means you’re going to be doing more mid-range work and for that the Ribeyrolles is hands down number one with the mp18 doing some work and the trench carbine being not a bad choice

The MP18 Trench is an absolute monster...
The hipfire accuracy is nice, even a bit outside close range. I like using it the sturmtruppen's way : equip gasmask, throw gas grenade then storm the place hipfiring the enemy. Totally destroys snipers/medics (but beware of automaticos and shotguns) =)

This is a serious question: HOW do you find gameplay of the DLC maps at all? Whenever I go into a DLC-map based game mode on PS4, it just loads me into a map with only me in it...
Yeah only way you can get one a dlc map is through the R2BFV playlist. Official dlc only servers are dead.

Robert Olivier the SMG08 is only really good in close range though, but my god is it good up close lol the Ribeyrolles is the best all rounder, you can do almost everything with it
Josh Rodallegas yeah plus the ribeyrolles has a bipod.....bipod=laser accuracy.
SMG 08 is viable up to about 40 feet imo if you're good at recoil control (though I can't speak for it on console). The low damage dropoff, quick ttk, and huge magazine make it devastating against choke points in large matches (when the 1900 and automatico just can't keep up with reloads).

To me the modell 1900 is an extremly rewarding gun, its strong quite accurate and pretty reliable...

Nice list dude! Id say most of these are also my favourites. Personally like the Ribeyrolles and MP18 the most, model 1900 is a lot of fun too though
I like using the Model 1900 on double-shot mode to pretend it's the super shotgun from Doom.
I took a bit of a hiatus from BF1, but watching this makes want to play it again.
Nata1014 Exactly my thoughts. I wish I could reset my stats though, seeing as I would like to re-unlock all my guns for BF1 (as the only challenge that was of any real difficulty to me was getting the Vetterli carbine)
I would reset my stats but some of the assignments are more annoying imo then challenging, but I would reset my stats if it weren't for the weapons.

Hoboj 234 sound whoring and pre aiming on common enemy routes, it's a skill you learn from games like rainbow six siege, or you can naturally learn it, it's a good skill
Great video Kris, and I couldn't agree more about the Hellriegal; fast fire rate, calm recoil which can extend it's range beyond close to medium range on stationary targets, and 60 rounds to work with. What more can you ask for? I just grow tired of getting killed by it almost exclusively when losing gunfights I would win if my opponents had any other weapon.

@@TheGlowingOnee what does getting good has to do with gun stats? Even if you re the best player using a slow firing weapon or a decent medic weapon against a noskillriegel you can shoot first but you will only kill the guy if he misses shots

And what you just said is false, I’ve taken out many good competitive players that know how to use the hellriegal while I used the autoloading extended or farquhar hill optical. It just gets annoying that people still bitch about the gun when the gun is not as good as it used to be after the TTK patch. Just saying 🤷🏻♂️
1900 slug with 2 shots at once is pretty much the martini henry
no smg 08? Maybe it has a lot of recoil, but it also has 81 bullets and the second fastest TTK in the class
It doesn't even have that much recoil and shreds and tears through everything up to midrange. It's good for us two if those pesky little boys stay with their trash Ribeyrolles

It's great, easy to get the hang of and doesn't need reloading very often at all.
the best weapon of the game without any doubt is the SM 08 ... cadence, ammunition and precision ... the recoil is easy to control ... the assassin ...
M1918 Storm will always be my no. 1 bae but I must say, the Ribeyrolles is an absolute belter that I really regret not trying earlier. Probably would have ended up being my go-to if it hadn’t taken me ‘til recently to give it a go!
The 12g automatic is my favorite, especially because you can spam it faster than the sjögren in close range
Automatico STORM variant is my personal favourite not exactly sure why it just feels a lot nicer to use for me
and i also went on a 42 no death killstreak with it
the mp18 optical is my pride and joy dealing with close to mid-range targets. The bayonet is a plus. A very good storm weapon.

I think the mp18 is very well rounded, but I personally like the automatico trench and the annihilatior. I can go gangster with the hip fire accuracy

when i play assault i personally run the mp18 trench version because it has good accuracy from the hip also i find it the most accurate than other smgs at least to me cause when i play assault i play aggressive but i also play tactical at the same time so i fight close to mid range and the mp18 just serves me well
Agreed on Hellriegel being a crutch. But sadly there's that stupid 300 kills challenge for an unlock so I gotta use it for a while 😭
Good list, I agree mostly but I would switch hellriegel 1915 with smg 08/18 factory and the sjögren inertial factory i can't say since I haven't unlocked it.

Usually go ribayroles, 1900 or annihilator if I go Assault. But usually I go medic cause I feel more comfortable with DMRs
I like the Annihilator even if it only carries 20 rounds.
No love for the slug variant 1900 shotty? It does almost the same up close as the factory version but also lets you reach out and snipe people at range.

Automatico 1918 trench and the storm variant is my most favorite. I don't know why! But my hands can't handle the ribeyrolles any well.
i must admit : sometime i use the M1900 while shooting BOTH barrel just for the overpower effect. bring me such joy and make me smile with a evil smirk

a lot of time i miss for X reason ( a wall, the guy was quick , i was too nervous etc...) but those times.................when all fit together there is that gorgeous moment when that guy just EVAPORATE in front of my eyes and there is red rain everywhere.

My favorite assault gun is the Sjögren Inertial #2 Model 1900
To unlock the Sjörgren Internal Factory is the most pain in ass... because of the part to complete to use a worst shotgun Trench Shotgun Hunter has lack of range and low damage. We know the experienced player can counter the worst shotgun with no problem. Kris, you’re the best challenger for all weapons to unlock it, including Sjörgren shotgun

Jheeez the 10 a hunter didn't even makr the lists I swear I get bodied by that thing from across the Map every game. Aside fromthat good ranking tho, haven't sjogren up the sjogren but I will be trying it out after what you HAve said.

The ribeyrolles is very good but it runs out of ammo so quick.
Not gonna lie, I usually play with the MP18 cause I like a challenge. It actually is a beastly gun, but when people piss me off, I use the automatico or hellriegel. Thankfully I only have 12 SS for the reigel and like 9 SS for the auto

I think mentality plays into it alot in Battlefield. Pretty much all guns are very effective, but because people see guns like Automatico or Hellriegel so much they are branded as being too strong. They're not really any stronger than the MP18 or Ribeyrolles at their tasks, but people react more to them because of their prominance. That's how it was in BF3 with the M16A3 and in BF4 with the likes of AEK-971. Popular guns tend to get a bit of flak, but all guns are good. :)
Good point and i couldn't agree more, but the M16A3 _was_ overpowered.
Maybe, I used M416 almost exclusively as far as assault rifles went in BF3. The RPM was so similar to the M16A3 (750 vs 800) but I found that it felt a lot stronger and accurate at range.

I don’t pick weapons like the Automatico and the Helriegel because thet don’t require a lot of skill. I am very skilled in bf1 and I don’t need a “Helriegel” to kill people, only need a rsc smg. Justice from above!🙌🏻

1900 Slug can kill a 12 m instead of 14 but it has a much better damage drop
No SMG 18 in the list?! Crazy. Not saying you have to put it at #1, but not on the list is a mistake IMO.
Not a fan of the recoil really, highly inaccurate beyond point blank range

I have 100 service stars on Model 1900. It is very good gun. 🤗
Smg 08 is too good to be true, go watch metal_slug getting 15 kills per magazine or so with that thing... Unless you're needing the range from the reby, there's just no reason to use anything else if you're looking for efficiency.
Of course the fun/variety factors are important but the best is the best.

SMG 08 and ribeyrolles are only assault weapons i use. I hate hellriegel and my playstyle just doesn't fit with other assault weapons :/

i ahve been playing this game alerady reaching the 200 hours, i'm not sure if i'm weird but i manage to learn how to use the anhilator, thanks for not mentioning it, it kills even faster than the automatico so nobody will ever use it.

Lol we like most of the same guns. I like the MP18 the best because you don't have to constantly reload like with the automatic and ribeyrolles. (They have less ammo and the automatic fires faster) I generally don't like shotguns but the Sjogren is ok.

I started playing the shotgun M1900 3 weeks ago and now I've got 5 stars. Amazing shotgun
For me its the annihilator trench, sure range is shit and ads isnt that good but it tears ass with its almost recoilless hipfire when you get into range, paired with something like the gasser you're good to go.

Automatico has become my gun of choice. Prefer the Factory variant as, although you lose some hipfire, you gain a lot of accuracy ads compared to the Trench, especially bursting, to take advantage of the recoil recovery. Helps minimise the problem of taking players down at medium range, if you have to.
