your room is too small for 1.5 ton ac, 0.8 ton or 1 ton is more than enough, use it in energy efficient mode to save electricity. try using it above 24C and regularly clean filters and if possible carefully wipe the inner evaporator fins, or else book a jet pump service when evaporator coil and blower gets choaked.
