47 is a really adorable doll. I have her in my collection, she’s got the ‘bad’ eyes and permapanties 😂 but the way her eyes were installed she’s slightly looking to the left, so she has a really cute ‘flirty eye’ look. Her hair is so soft and silky and doesn’t tangle, it’s really easy to style; it would be a great doll for kids because of the easy care hair, so I get why she’s popular. But you’re exactly right about having too many of one mold.
Great video. I think finding dolls that stick out to you vs getting dolls just because is how we shop. We prefer going to the AG Store and finding a doll that we gravitate to.

honestly i really felt the same about the colored hair dolls until i found an 86 on facebook marketplace for a really good price. i’d planned on freshening her up and selling her, but then when i finally got her in my hands i fell completely in love with her 🥹her deep purple wig with the brown highlights paired with the tenney brown eyes is so pretty when you see it in real life, pictures really don’t do 86 justice

I'm also on that page all the time. :) I think I'm done buying Truly Me's, as I just got my dream doll, a #64 with #61 eyes and wig and custom freckles and beauty marks. She's my early 51st birthday present and she's gorgeous. :) I posted her on my Instagram (same name as here, but no space between first and last name). I now have 7 dolls with 7 different eye colors and I feel like I'm done. Only time will tell. :) Great video, as always! Thanks for sharing!

I liked her wavy hair, her left side part, and her dark blue eyes. She reminds me of a singer I like with the same attributes. The one I found on eBay has a layered haircut so she's a little more unique. Just a little, LOL.
I juts got my 3rd American girl doll and I got 47 today she was gifted to me by my boyfriend for my upcoming birthday i have wanted 46 my whole childhood but I got 47 because I am an adult and juts don’t have time to take care of her hair and love doing hairstyles on my McKenna so I just knew 47 would be a great way to continue that
I have TM # 22, 60, 68, 89, 91. I can’t believe that they all retired. I do love my #22, 68 the best. I do not like my # 89, 91 as much as the others because of the colored hair. A lot of clothing looks bad on them. But they are very cute. I don’t plan on selling any of my dolls. Because, they are part of the family. I only have 12 dolls. So, they all get used. I definitely want a couple of the new TM dolls and Claude. I don’t plan on buying a doll for a while. Even, if there’s a lot of dolls on my wish list. I don’t like Falicity’s eyes the best. I also collect doll clothes. That’s my favorite thing. Spoiling the ones I have.

The first time I went on AG wiki after the new tm revamp was because I was confused that AG skipped 93-99. I was pretty much horrified to see a whole new visual chart! Also the #1 biggest mistake of my childhood was get tm 27 and I regret it to this day.😭
I would like a bald doll because I really would want her really good and stop motions that means like you wouldn’t need a lot of dolls just a lot of wigs

sadly about the blonde hair and green eyes thing is that there's only two in the entirety of American girl (Besides Isabelle which apparently is hazel eyes? And Caroline who has blueish green). So If I wanted a doll that looked like me, blonde hair green eyes. 52 is my only bet. It sucks that they rarely have the combination😭
I don’t have any truly mes I hate, but I have two dream dolls, 60 and 23. 60 does look like Chrissa, but she does have longer hair. 23 I saw at the store and reminded me of Mabel from Gravity Falls. I also own 47, who I named Nora, because she is my only Sonali Mold. In my opinion, if I want a doll, I’m not gonna care if she looks similar, Lea and McKenna have the same shade of hair and I own at least 4 Josefina molds. Plus she also wears glasses. She and Rebecca are the only two dolls I got in the same place, at the same time, on the same day and so they are similar in personality.
If you dress them in AG outfits maybe they will look more childish…. But in Etsy clothing and styled more how I would dress they seem older. Maybe it’s the influence of agig speaking but most people I know in the community consider them adults
