That was by far my favourite yarn tour you’ve done! Thank you Natalie and Kent! What an amazingly eloquent and fascinating young women Ashleigh is! I am in awe!
So cool! This was my favorite interview/ studio tour yet! Their organization and methodical processing and vision is truly inspiring! Thank you for this!
wow that a fabulous store, love how she protects her employees, first aid kit, anti-fatigue mats, masks, etc, even though some of those items are set by laws, it is nice to see them in place as many employers fail at that stuff. I would love to work for a place like that. Great interview. I love organization too. Glad you took us to see that store. Loving your touring videos.
I used to follow Sewrella back in 2016-2017 for her crochet patterns without getting into any of the online fiber communities at the time. Then, I dropped crochet for several years, and when I came into knitting in 2020 and started following a bunch of knitters and dyers, I was so shocked to see how big ashleigh had made her company in just those few years. Major congrats to her, her family, and her employees for all the effort they've put in to making the company so successful!
That was such an interesting video. I have dyed yarn in my kitchen but to see the scale of Sewrella's operation was mind boggling. Thank you so much for sharing! I will now be looking up Sewrella's yarn online and probably buying myself something special.
This series is so creatively inspiring! Thank you so much for sharing this content. I absolutely love Sewrella and this behind the scenes peek was so interesting! 🩷✨
I really enjoyed this tour of the Sewrella studio. I wish I lived close enough, or was more of a traveler, so that I could visit in person. I love the high level of organization Ashleigh has implemented. It's a type of work environment I would thrive in.
I love your yarn store tours! You’re providing a service to me as a yarn customer and to the the yarn stores that I didn’t even know was missing. Thanks so much!
oh wow this was a really interesting interview and tour ........ hate that I'm just now finding out about them I am obsessed with Gilmore Girls and would have loved to have gotten in on the collection will have to keep up with them now and see what else they have in store .........
Wow love the colors so beautiful. I like to knit with Luminous Brooklyn Yarn, It's exclusive to Argyle Yarn shop in Brooklyn. They have a big room in back of their store where they hand dye the yarn. I've done several matching cowl and hat patterns striping with two different color ways. First one I did using Purl Soho's Giverny Cowl and Inside Out hat patterns was Pink Lemonade and Shock Value. I just finished same patterns with the colors Beachcomber and Hotshot. Hotshot is a pretty purple color. Both sets were knit on size 10 1/2 circular needles. I also made a reversible cable cowl, my own design using their worsted weight yarn In Shock Value. I love hand dyed yarns. It's amazing how many stores you are able to tour, and some are so big. Here in NY, the yarn stores are so small. Another great Artist is the maker of Yarn Over New York. She was at Knitty City on upper west side for last day of the yarn crawl. I got a skein of her fingering weight yarn to make the Simple Pleasures hat pattern, also from Purl Soho. Don't be afraid to use different yarns for a pattern than the pattern is made in, as long at it has the same gage and weight. I have been lucky to get Purls Lovebird yarn in the color Candy Shop to make the Giverny Cowl and Inside Out hat. Wish they would reopen their store on Broome street. Keep the Yarn shop tours coming it's so much fun seeing all the beautiful yarn.
This is such an amazing studio. I really love Sewrella's aesthetic and that inspiration board. I appreciate how much time and effort goes into showing each colorway in the BTS videos and showing the color on every base is my favorite. I always feel like I have a really good idea of what the yarn I'm ordering is going to look like compared to just seeing a photograph of it.
Seeing all the behind-the-scenes creativity, organization and hardwork make me fully appreciate my yarn so much more. And never will I balk at the price - SO worth every penny.
This tour and interview was so great and inspiring! Dreaming on getting a similar one on my own here in Argentina! Looking forward for whats coming this year!
Such a cool space to work at! Love the quality. I always die a little inside because they offer such great colours but no plant-based bases. Maybe someday they will!
Any other Type A folks out there drooling over how this business is put together? T.H.E. yarn edition!
Yessss
That was by far my favourite yarn tour you’ve done! Thank you Natalie and Kent!
What an amazingly eloquent and fascinating young women Ashleigh is! I am in awe!

I love sewrella and I'm in N.C. too ❤ !
Wow the best tour yet ❤ so interesting. Love the cable cups 😂
Oh yay! Another yarn store video.
Hope you like it!
@@KnittyNatty absolutely! It’s a goal to visit some of these places and say KnittyNatty sent me.
Such a great interview! I love Sewrella yarn!
Sewrella is my FAVORITE! I'm always loving the themes. SO GOOD.
Me too!!
This tour was awesome! What an amazing company. Would love to work here! Thanks Natalie for taking us along x
Wouldn’t that be so fun!!
I live in Apex and didn’t know about this... thanks for sharing.
I discovered Sewrella after the whole Wool and Folk debacle. They are now my favorite indie dyer and have purchased from them several times.
Aww yay!!
Ahh yes maybe they will!
It would double the space required, even the dye used on wool won’t dye plant fibers!
@@catofthecastle1681 So I was told. Still, a girl can dream!
Wonderful!!
I thought Sewrella was to do with sewing!!! So glad I watched this! I do still wonder why she chose that name...?
I live about an hour and a half away from Apex. I had no idea this was so close 😊
No way! Super local yarn ☺️
Wow very informative ❤🧶💫 next time I’m in NC , I’ll have to check this place out !
Thanks! I feel like we didn’t explain very well, but this is a dye studio that isn’t open to the public. You can find them at shows and online though!
@@KnittyNatty aww.. okay , thanks for letting me know 😁🤘🏼🧶💫
I miss her tutorials back in the days..!!..
I’ve been waiting for this one!!! ❤
