They were the best times ever, I lived 'em full throttle from '75 til the end before the "grunge' thing... Now everything is so dull... I pity those who haven't had the chance to be alive at that time.
Cinderella’s 1st album “ Night Songs” 1986. Has a lot of really great songs. 2nd album “Long Cold Winter” 1988”, also awesome album. -Nights Songs -Gypsy Road -Don’t know what you got until it’s gone. Awesome ballad. -Bad Seamsters Blues -Shelter Me Tom Keifer lead singer, guitar, keyboards, sax. Eric Brittingham, bass, vocals. Jeff Labar slide guitar, back vocals. Fred Coury , drums.
The 80s were the best in the music scene. So many artists in every genre and all of them had a fresh, original sound. Now everyone has the same auto-tune sound.
This is top notch blues rock from the 80"s. My favorites band that is still relevant today. Tom Kiefer vocals is so talented. The whole band and gave it all every show. I still rock to them over thirty years later. Great band.
Definitely the greatest and most underrated band of the 80s IMO, they weren't a, hair band, just a kick ass rock n roll band 🤘🤘seen Cinderella 3 time's and Tom keifer alone with his band 6 time's now. Had him sign my acoustic guitar 8 year's ago, got to meet him at the jewel night club in Manchester NH when he played there. Awesome voice still, even after the vocal chord surgeries. Go down the rabbit hole of Cinderella and his solo band. You will not be disappointed.
I saw them in Peoria, Illinois around 1997. It was one of those summer shows Poison threw together. Cinderella blew the roof off the building! Poison didn't want to go on stage after them lol. Saw them again in 2006 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with Poison, Quiet Riot, Firehouse, and Ratt. Once again Cinderella blew the roof off the building and was the best part of the show! Those other bands are great too...but Cinderella live is off the hook!
I absolutely love seeing someone new experiencing 80's hard rock and metal. It was as a time of thick sounds, wild hair, and raunchy lyrics. Great band choice. There are so many great songs from this album, too.
Cinderella was great live. I saw them 3 times and they sounded just like the album. Somebody Save Me and Gypsy Road are great ones to review from them as well. Thank you for this!!
Awesome review, MrsPenPal! 😎 They're from my neck of the woods here in the Philly area and I remember first seeing them at a club in south New Jersey in the mid-80's and new they were going to breakout nationally. The 80's hard rock & metal scene was such a great time to be alive...God Bless...🎶🎸😜
I’m an Aussie who has always been big into bands, and never heard of these guys until recently, they weren’t big here! But I’m a girl of the 80’s and still have a huge weakness for guys with a lot of hair, just lovely!
So many great bands from the 80's. Similar style of music but each band had their own distinct sound. Greatest era for music! Talent and hard work ruled the day. Not auto tune and singles for online distribution.
You're in a big rabbit hole. They had so many hits. It was insane off their first few albums. Save me, save me, don't know what you got till it's gone the ballad. Gypsy road They got a lot of songs that are wrong. It's really good for those albums. I got to see them live a couple times awesome live. Never seen so many bras panties hit the stage during their songs ever I was Twenty four when this album came out
Cinderella is a great live band. Even after he had vocal chord surgery and thought he may never sing again he still sounds amazing. I have seen this band 2 times and I have seen him solo 3 times. Great voice, talented songwriter and also is no slouch on guitar and piano. I was a teen in the 80's and the music was amazing and it was a great time to grow up.
1986, San Francisco. I was nearly crushed to death by daring to stand at the barrier when Cinderella opened for DLR on his first solo tour. (I was there to see Cinderella and Billy Sheehan and Steve Vai. F Roth.) And here, almost 40 years later, a very nice young lady with a gorgeous necklace and hair to match finds that she takes to this song much as I did all those years ago. These reactors def give new life to tired old rags, and what fun it is! (BTW, Keifer reportedly wrote this song in five minutes on his mother's porch. That's really not so hard to believe, is it?) Enjoyed your video, young lady!
They used to play "Quarter night" at a club called "Heaven" back in the 80's. Five bucks to get in .25 drinks. Trashed for ten bucks and Cinderella! They were great long before they were popular. Good times!
glad you liked it. love your hair color! they had some other great songs too. loved them. they were one of the popular 80's hair bands and their songs were absolutely accepted. check out "Nobody's fool" or "Somebody save me" or "Night songs" or "Hell on wheels". all great ones you would probably like if you like this one. Bon Jovi was said to have discovered these guys.
I'm an original Cinderella fan back in the 80s. Back then, Cinderella wasn't viewed as highly as they are today. I'd like to think that's partly due to my efforts of blasting best of Cinderella music mix's while driving up and down the San Diego 8; but, maybe I'm being a little bit over myself or something!
Cinderella is one of my favorites Tom Keifer has a unique voice unfortunately after having vocal cord paralysis in 1994 I think. He's endured multiple surgeries and today he's still touring after the break-up of Cinderella. RIP Jeff Lebar. Thee 70's and 80's were the greatest music and movies and television shows.
Only 40 years later and we are finding out that Tom was a great songwriter and musician. There were a great number of people with talent that got lost in the 80’s
The used mostly innuendoes, then slipped the real thing in at key moments where most people wouldn't miss it. I noticed it, in a reaction video to the Jefferson Starship song, "Miracles."
I seen CINDERELLA back in 1988.... THEY'RE amazing!!!!!!!! Please listen to You Don't Know What You Got Till It's Gone?! THANK'S this song, video and your REACTION is great....🤘❤
The 80’s was just about fun and enjoying life. The lyrics were a bit “shocking” at the time but we didn’t care lol “Nobody’s Fool” was their first big hit.
Very fun to see your reaction! How were the lyrics accepted? A lot of songs were about sex and no one really cared. However, if you liked metal, you were looked down upon. Metal was taboo, people would judge you harshly. I was there. It was awesome and people looked down on me so what! It’s awesome to see young people hear our old music and appreciate it. If you want a really cool Cinderella song check out Bad Seamstress Blues/ Falling Apart at the Seams, it ROCKS!
I knew it!! God, I thought I was remembering things wrong from back then! If I remember correctly it also looked like snow coming down through the purple fog? Main thing I remember though is that right then, with the stage show and the incredible music, they became my All Time favorite band 😎
Cinderella was definitely good!! Want a singer that will blow ya mind, check out Steelheart "I'll Never Let You Go" or "Everybody Loves Eileen" or "She's Gone" All same band, not even my favorite band but damn good!
So funny you mentioned how the singer reminded you of Ac/Dc. When Cinderella first came out and this was played on the radio and I heard it, I thought, what the hell happened to acdc, they have gone top 40.
80’s Hard Rock was pretty much sexual innuendo lyrics full time. Prime example was a huge group WHITESNAKE with Slide it in and Still of the Night. Check out those official music videos. That’s about as 80’s Hard Rock as it gets. I know, I was there. My concert list is stupid ridiculous.
Ooh Cinderella! This was iconic through and through. What are your thoughts? Like, Comment, and Subscribe. Let’s connect: linktr.ee/mrspenpal
First album was great, they got blusey after that, lost their fan base for the most part.
The 80s was the best time to be alive with big hair bands I was in my mid teens in the 80s
All of the 80's genre of music rocked! Rock, Hard Rock, Hair Bands, Metal, and Top 40. Today's music can't compare.
Hell Yeah! Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Ratt, Cinderella, Motley Crue, Ozzy, Scorpions, Tesla, Dokken, Whitesnake, Great White, Guns and Roses, Van Halen, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden...
They were the best times ever, I lived 'em full throttle from '75 til the end before the "grunge' thing... Now everything is so dull... I pity those who haven't had the chance to be alive at that time.
This was their breakout hit back in the day. It made them stars and very famous. Believe me, I lived it.
Cinderella’s 1st album “ Night Songs” 1986. Has a lot of really great songs. 2nd album “Long Cold Winter” 1988”, also awesome album.
-Nights Songs
-Gypsy Road
-Don’t know what you got until it’s gone. Awesome ballad.
-Bad Seamsters Blues
-Shelter Me
Tom Keifer lead singer, guitar, keyboards, sax. Eric Brittingham, bass, vocals. Jeff Labar slide guitar, back vocals. Fred Coury , drums.
I was in high school from 1982 to 1986 and it was the greatest time ever for music, regardless of genre.
This band was the epitome of 80s hair metal! Tom Keifer has one of the best voices and the man can still rock it today!
Happy to see you enjoy this. This music is part of me now. I'm 58 years old.
I love Cinderella with my whole heart and im 14 soon 15
The 80s were the best in the music scene. So many artists in every genre and all of them had a fresh, original sound. Now everyone has the same auto-tune sound.
You got that right bud.
Auto tune screwed the music up. Took pretty people who cant sing into so called stars. Hardly any real talent out there.
@@johnvetere Once it left the studio, yes, it absolutely did.
This is top notch blues rock from the 80"s. My favorites band that is still relevant today. Tom Kiefer vocals is so talented. The whole band and gave it all every show. I still rock to them over thirty years later. Great band.

Cinderella is a kick ass band hope they come back to Manchester new Hampshire

I was a roady for a band that opened for Cinderella once in 2003. They were really nice guys to us. It was a good show.
I never realized how great we had it back then until I got old 😎
Girl..the 80s were amazing..so many bands to love. Singer Jon Bon Jovi from the rock band Bon Jovi discovered them
Oh I nearly forgot about Cinderella, such good music and videos, Gypsy Road , sooo good ! And others !
They are my favorite 80's band, saw them LIVE on LONG COLD WINTER tour
Cinderella is AWESOME! I shared this video on my Facebook page! Pretty cool you enjoyed it!
And yes, That was some of the Best of Times. Thats why radio stations still play that era of music instead of the current era.
You're in a big rabbit hole. They had so many hits. It was insane off their first few albums. Save me, save me, don't know what you got till it's gone the ballad.
Gypsy road

It was awsome growing up in 70s and 80s and all styles of music was great
Adore Cinderella. Great Band, Tom, lead singer and songwriter does not get enough credir. Entire album is Fantastic!!!

The 80’s was without a doubt the best Decade of my life !!! In 1980 I was 18 and having a blast !!!!
Saw Cinderella Open for BON JOVI in 1986 in Knoxville,Tenn AWESOME CONCERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Gypsy Road" is good also. Or "Dont Know What You Got" if you want a ballad.
Their bass player had the best hair band hair in the history of hair metal bands 🤟
metalhead since i was a little kid in the early 80's. Got to see most of the metal and rock bands live starting with Iron Maiden in '85.
Me, my friends love your honest reactions!!! ROCK on little sister!!!
GOOD STUFF GIRL ! REMINDS ME OF MY HIGH SCHOOL DAYS !!!
One of the best bands of the 80s/early 90s
Seen them in concert live, awesome show yay, good review 🎸🎸🎤
oh the 80s. Best time to live. Loved it and miss it. Top 20 MTV countdown. Headbangers Ball, Friday night videos...
we loved these guys back in the 80s the lyrics arre pretty straight forward next song nobodys fool
that is why it is called Glam Metal

Awwh what a warm comment thanks for sharing your experience Caine 🤗🌞✨
Night songs is awesome album. I bought it straight away when it was realeased back i - 86🤘 cheers from finland🇫🇮
Seen them when they opened up for David Lee Roth on his Eat’em and Smile Tour. They both put on a great show.
No they had lots of mad songs , Gypsy Road is my all time fav , but don't know what you got till its gorn is also magic !
Hi here is the reaction for don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone:

I was in my last year in high school when this album came out > I'm still rocking 😎 it ❤️
They used to play "Quarter night" at a club called "Heaven" back in the 80's. Five bucks to get in .25 drinks. Trashed for ten bucks and Cinderella! They were great long before they were popular. Good times!
of all the hair bands, Cinderella is my fave. They wrote songs that everyone can relate to. they seemed more real to me.
glad you liked it. love your hair color! they had some other great songs too. loved them. they were one of the popular 80's hair bands and their songs were absolutely accepted. check out "Nobody's fool" or "Somebody save me" or "Night songs" or "Hell on wheels". all great ones you would probably like if you like this one. Yes it is what you think-
I was there playing within those same circles back then.
NY NJ
what a time
Can we get a “hell YA” on the guitars twirled around the necks of both players!! Such a smooth move in rhythm!!
The 80's were amazing for both movies and music. 80's metal, Hair metal, whatever you wanna call it will never be matched.
Love this man’s voice. Easy on the eyes too lol
A great band loved those guys music 🎶
My favorite band. Rest in peace Jeff
CINDERELLA is awesome
I saw Cinderella in concert with Britney Fox and The Bullet Boys back in the late 80's. Cinderella is awesome live!
I saw this same group of bands in one show too!! They probably rolled through TX and KS during the same tour!!
Their breakout song was a banger called "Nobody's Fool" -- it's worth reviewing that.
80’s were the best times EVER!!!!🤘🏻🤘🏻
Seen them in 89, they rocked hard !!!
Just imagine seeing bands like this live..
Yes 🎉
Cinderella is one of my favorites Tom Keifer has a unique voice unfortunately after having vocal cord paralysis in 1994 I think. He's endured multiple surgeries and today he's still touring after the break-up of Cinderella. RIP Jeff Lebar.

Tom Keifer, founder and singer of Cinderella had issues with his vocal cords many years ago. He postponed some of concert to allow his cords to heal.
I seen CINDERELLA back in 1988.... THEY'RE amazing!!!!!!!! Please listen to You Don't Know What You Got Till It's Gone?!
THANK'S this song, video and your REACTION is great....🤘❤
Break out song and album. it was great when it came out.
I met them and have an autographed cd by them. So good.
Long cold winter is my favorite !
The 80’s was just about fun and enjoying life.
The lyrics were a bit “shocking” at the time but we didn’t care lol
“Nobody’s Fool” was their first big hit.
Don't Know What You Got Till It's Gone and heartbreak station both have him also doing clean vocals.
You’re 100 % correct we did have it made in the 80’s . When you went to a concert it wasn’t for 1 band . U saw 5 or 6 bands per show
Glamorous, decadent and over the top. 🤘🤘
Shelter Me and Heartbreak Station are great songs ❤ thanks 😊
Anything with a cow bell in it freaking ROCKS!
Very fun to see your reaction! How were the lyrics accepted? A lot of songs were about sex and no one really cared. However, if you liked metal, you were looked down upon. Gypsy Road is amazing.
Also by Cinderella, Somebody Save Me
Saw them in concert, he came down from the ceiling with a white grand piano in a purple haze. The 80’s were the best.
I knew it!! God, I thought I was remembering things wrong from back then! If I remember correctly it also looked like snow coming down through the purple fog? Main thing I remember though is that right then, with the stage show and the incredible music, they became my All Time favorite band 😎
I think it was Don’t Know What You Got, til it’s Gone that he was playing?
Same thing with me, the lead singer came down from the scaffolding with a piano, that was in ‘89 in Savannah Georgia.
@@seangilbert19658 I’m pretty sure that it was also in 89 in Wichita KS. Maybe I have a concert shirt somewhere that will tell me 😁
One of my favorite bands ever. Check out Night Songs!
Cinderella was definitely good!! Want a singer that will blow ya mind, check out Steelheart
"I'll Never Let You Go" or
"Everybody Loves Eileen" or
"She's Gone"
All same band, not even my favorite band but damn good!
Yes he sings, writes, guitars, & piano
A very talented ind.
Are you hip to 5 finger death punch?
R.I.P. Jeff.
Try Cinderella Heartbreak Station. Shows the range of his voice
The kids today don't know how cool and fun it was in the 80's
So beautiful
Hi Mrs Pen Pal! I hope you’re doing well! I have a song recommendation for you: Stand By Me by Elvis! You’ll love it!
So funny you mentioned how the singer reminded you of Ac/Dc. When Cinderella first came out and this was played on the radio and I heard it, I thought, what the hell happened to acdc, they have gone top 40.
The two girls were recurring characters in the early Cinderella videos.
Somebody Save Me is better.
Night Songs is even better than that
Totally agree!
Totally agree 💯
Gypsy Road
I prefer Nobody’s Fool.
Need to do coming home and don't know what you got until its gone
Lots of debate over what song was the best off this album 🤔 i pretty much like the whole album, i believe Nobody's Fool was the most popular.
❤❤❤❤❤❤👍
The 80's were the best. I miss the 80's the hair, the muisc etc..
One of the only hair badge I liked
There were more blue zy and rock and roll than Glam
I miss the 80s music
They signed autographs at my record store when this song came out opening that night for Bon Jovi😎✌
Lucky, I got to see Bullet Boys in person at a album store.
I saw them on this tour with Poison and Loudness. Poison played first then Cinderella, and Loudness was the headliner.
This was one of the better hair bands. Really liked them. Not Slayer by any means.....but good.
Yep, you get it. :)
