  • A compilation of top crews showing great sculling bladehandling.
    Mostly 4x (and some 2x).
    Things to look at are for example:
    Acceleration towards finish
    Making height diference before feathering
    Contrast between drive and recovery
    Relaxed upper body towards catch
    No upperbody movement when catching

    Many great examples, including the Brothers of course! But the Dutch stroke in the last video is perhaps the most remarkable: relaxed-looking, almost smiling, during the recovery -- even in the last stages of a race, at 36 spm or more; no unneded tension, no waste of energy. Catch-accelerate-relax-let run. So good.

    'See how the blades sky before the catch, because the co-efficiency
    of the hull doesn't accommodate the asymmetric profile dimensions...... Stroke is flawed......
    Blades have been failing for 35 years.........Square look?'
