Hey, but now how do I disable it when I don't need it anymore? Is it possible to revert at any time when I need to go back to normal writing?

Very helpful, and I'm going to be using this method instead of setting subtitles on separate files in the Score Info box. Good for combining separate movement files into a single document.

Glad it was helpful! Anything else you'd like to see, Rob?

Happy to hear that! Anything else that's slowing you down right now, Rungradis?

fantastic!! my only issue is that I can't reveal it on Plugings after I copied it. Any clues? Thanks a lot master!

1:52 does anyone know what command he is using to get the layout into another number of bars per line?

Hey there! Essentially that's just using the menu item Utilities > Fit Measures…, selecting the option "Lock Measures Into One System", then pressing OK.
It's really fast since I built a Keyboard Maestro macro to do all the work for me.
If you're on a Mac and curious about how I have Keyboard Maestro setup, I have an entire playlist about that: th-cam.com/video/KU86f2AVfEo/w-d-xo.html
If you're on Windows, I'd suggest looking into AutoHotKey. I don't use Windows myself so can't really help with that, but Jacob Winkler has a great blog post on using AutoHotKey with Finale: www.rpmseattle.com/of_note/automating-finale-for-windows/

Hello Nick, can I do all this setup and save this as a library?

    • @nickmazuk

Hi Rodrigo, I've never tried that before. You could probably do the movement titles in one library. You'd still have to use the JW plugin on every new piece, import the library, and add the movement titles.
Only caveat would be the movement title positions are dependent on the pager size/margins. If you work with different size papers for each project, you'd have to create a new library for each.
If you try it out, let me know how it goes.

Nice workaround, but I think it is too cumbersome to do. I would definitely rather have a built-in function which does all this in one go.

Totally agree. Right now, it's the best way I know of to do this, but I am working on a script to get all this done in one click. No idea when it will be finished, but stay tuned.

When I open my finale project that option is greyed out for me, what can cause this to happen?

      Which option is greyed out?
