Exploring Bahia Concepción | Our New Favorite Sailing Grounds? | Baja California Sur, Mexico

We may have found one of our favorite areas to sail our catamaran in all of Baja California Sur, Mexico. Bahia Concepción, in the Sea Of Cortez, has a handful of beautiful anchorages and plenty of activities to keep us busy for weeks. We almost wish we found our way up north sooner in the season but we are glad we got to anchor in almost every spot the bay has to offer. Great sailing, fantastic restaurants, plenty of scenic views and hiking trails to explore for many days. We will be back here for sure next season as we continue to explore Mexico and the Sea Of Cortez in our Gemini 105mc catamaran sailboat.

Life is a strange thing, I was sitting here thinking of how Kirsten Neuschafer just spent 235 days at sea solo single handed non stop around the world! And how different her life was while I was just living out some “normal” days. Everyone is on their own journey just don’t forget to take some time in nature and work towards your big goals!

Hasn’t warmed up yet like it is in the fall but probably 67 or so right now. In October I’ll be swimming in 85 degree water!
