I enjoy this content so much, I can't even put it into the right words. A massive increase in social anxiety and a lack of local chums have kind of made this sort of adventure difficult at best, but I genuinely enjoyed doing this now and again in my younger days. Thank you!

Then I see stuff like this where they are bumming around the JDF rec centre and the Esquimalt Lagoon and all my old stomping grounds and it's very surreal. It's kind of weird that I never ran into any of them, seeing as Victoria is pretty small and I definitely hung out in MtG/comics stores like Yellowjacket a fair amount.
by far my favourite thing they did was the top gear style road trip. Those were the highlights of my week a few years ago when new episodes would come out.

Also, pretty sure those meat shredders were those mini-Wolverine claws that you use to tear up briskets and other large cuts of meat.
Engaging with the algorithm to say that if that green glassware was marked as Fire King glass, it wasn't uranium glass. There is uranium glass in that color but not from the makers of Fire King. It'd have been perfectly safe to eat off of, and legit fairly collectable.

I genuinely want to suggest to people that if there is this sort of flea market/swap meet/etc. in your area where the sellers have to bring their goods and take them away that you make a habit of visiting them. They are a great way to get out and start your day with an interesting leisurely walk, and you never know what you might find. My partner and I do it most sundays. We only occasionally buy something, but there is always something weird and interesting to see.
The usual pipeline for resellers is buying at these types of places and reselling on Etsy or Ebay. I used to do it, but I was looking for things I could refurbish and make a good return on - I enjoy fixing things so it was always a bit of fun saving something before finding it a new home.

Those Wolverine meat claw things are a menace. We got them and using them hurt my hands from how awkward the grip was. Never again.
