I think it'd be neat to do the same concept, but with a neural network AI that behaves like a player, rather than this "AI" (it technically is AI, but it's only doing what it's told, and can't learn from it's input)

As someone who uses this ai for singleplayer manhunts. I'll tell you that these things are incredibly difficult to play against. Other than that this was a very good video and is very relatable as well. Excellent video!

But one thing annoying about these AI hunters is that you can lose them way too easily. There's a chance u can speedrun the entire game without encountering it even once until u get to the end

Couldn’t you have used entity cramming to trap it? The AI multiplies on death so you can possibly trap it in an infinite death loop. Although you may lose a single chunk because lag.
But the AI forceloads the chunk it is on, meaning the lag would keep going no matter where you went

I like that the creators of the AI could've perfectly used /fill replace [#minecraft:mineable] to make sure that didn't happen
Minecraft already breaks the laws of physics purely because it is a block game and you can go diagonally

it would be interesting to give the same abilities as the AI to a person and then see how they react to the traps and try to trap them.
the whole reason the trap works is because it isnt a person

Even if you have to sacrifice the nether dimension, i guess you can still be able to beat the game in that snapshot because you may encounter blazes in the other custom dimensions. Epic

@@afterthefact6708 If you watched the video, you actually see him go to the nether , the ai spawns, he goes through a random dimension then to the overworked to escape.
And it's trapped in the nether because when he went to check, the AI was still in the nether

If the AI could phase through bedrock by replacing it to go upwards somehow, what if you tried to just trap it on the nether ceiling instead? Theoretically the AI would see the bedrock as blocks it would need to mine, but as we all know, bedrock is indestructible.
All you would need is the portal to be on the roof of the nether, and a piece of TNT to disable the portal. Then again this whole idea would probably be thrown out the window if the AI considers the frame itself to be a portal or the AI can somehow magically tear through bedrock.
Smart, this could be used if anyone wants to access the nether safely

I think you should try to trap the Wither storm. With the ability to suck up blocks and add to its own mass you will have to be very creative about it. It also has a very unique way to kill it which depending on where you are in the world can take a long amount of time which gives it time to enlarge which is why trapping it would be a good idea.

For 100k, what about something like a sculk "virus" that follows the players? (like the same kind of thing as when a mob dies on it, it spreads, but perhaps could also take over passive mobs like golems to attack on sight? Is a thought.

curious, how would have the AI reacted to stairs made of quickly repeating pistons? I guess it would still think it has a path to reach the player as the stairs are there so its unlikely to build its way out, but the pistons would keep pushing it back to where it came from... and since it force loads the chunk, even the player going away wouldnt allow it to escape

Another idea that came to mind:
Baiting the Hunter AI to the Nether, then breaking the Nether Portal, then dying to respawn in the overworld, leaving the Hunter trapped there
OR,
Baiting the Hunter AI to the Nether, then planting and lighting a block of TNT right before you warp back to the overworld.
Won't the AI just kill itself to respawn? I don't think this will work.

It is an AI, because it learned in the past (when the model was being trained). It just isn't learning anymore. According to CS terminology it totally counts as an AI.
@@Benw8888 The problem is these clickbaittubers don't explain anything in detail just to appeal to kids. So we dont know if its an AI model or a more traditional game ai but it looks more like a traditional one.

However, "technically", this is still classified under computer science as AI, as all something has to do to be AI is to perform human-like activities. The term you may be thinking of is "machine learning" which is a subset of AI and necessitates that the model learns over data.

This is like an immortal enemy that chase the mc then the mc trains, and use his full power to make another dimension and trapped the enemy forever.
Perhaps the robot cannot respawn in the End and it needs a solid block within its respawn range to land to. It only replaced water blocks when it reached the top of Bubble Trouble 3000. But once the bottom was removed, it fell instead.

With the water trap you could make the floor with stripes of soul sand and magma and have pistons move the blocked back and forth so that the AI would be stuck in the center of the water

@@BuffCrystal The trap attempts where it falls into the void don't show it respawning or duplicating. I assumed it would try to spawn it's duplicates in the same place it died, is that not the case? I'm not aware of how the datapack works lmao.

Make a turtle that can adapt to any dimension,block,mob,etc. And it can use use potions depending on were it is, and when 50 blocks from you if has speed 3

When you realize that the AI was trapped in hell for eternity the video gets so much more epic
The dimension idea wouldn't work if it was using modding instead of commands. Because every book has a name behind it, and is in a variable. Which means if it was connected to Minecraft code it MIGHT (this is a stretch) be able to follow you. The reason its a stretch is because you might have to wrote cod for every dimension, but he wants it to be untrappable soooooo GRIND BBY

The fact that some of these don’t work for reasons that wouldn’t be possible for a player account to do, makes me think that they should still count. Those not working just feels unfair
It is quite an smart solution to a problem that seems impossible.
From time to time glithes appear that permit bedrock to become an item. When my nephew said he could not be trapped (after getting a diamond pickaxe) I switched my hand to holding bedrock. He changed his mind. The AI isn't phasing through bedrock like it is nothing it's taking suffocation damage.
From later in the video: the current bedrock breaker breaks command blocks. Cripple the AI.
I need this datapack to punish some people on my friends SMP. They blew up the public enderman farm because they were mad over their friend getting banned.
