I played the game on its first early access play. I can definitely say the Devs listened to a lot of feedback and made a ton of changes for the betterment of the game and players. Seeing all the updates a ton has changed and a lot of new things added to really improve the game. Just a lot of great improvements. Sadly one thing that can’t be fixed is how super fast some players will rush to the end of game completing it and then be bored with seemingly not much else to do as vast majority of other players on their server isn’t even there. Then those players in their boredom will just quit playing. Such was the case of my early access experience first time around. Had some good players, even in clan on server. Some burned themselves out rushing to end game bosses, sometimes asking for help and few were even at their level for bosses. They later got bored and quit as many others only played a few hours at a time daily and wasn’t as progressed as they were. Time passed, the server died. Now we back at it again with this new update but a really great update.
Pumped for all those QOL fixes! Gonna start a fresh world and the single player grind again soon!
Been neck deep for the past 6 hours... took off of work. It is worth it. Game is SIGNIFICANTLY more polished.
@M on a server with about 40.... it is nuts. Now that people can't castle camp/grief is GAME CHANGING. Gone are the days I wake up, log in, look outside my castle and see a sealed castle heart stopping me from leaving mine.
I am so glad that it is easier to find course thread and paper. That took me the longest time to find in the last update
Just a quick note: if your goal is to progress fast, don't go linear with the bosses. You can come back later to kill bosses that are just nice to have, don't waste time for those

This game is hands down the best survival crafting game out there right now. This is an insane update and cant even imagine how good this game will be come the 1.0 launch. My only real issue is that it sucks to have to start over when the server you are starting on dies. Wish there was a way to hop back and forth between online and solo play. Would like to just chill and explore the world at my own pace but then when I want to hop online and do some pvp or coop raids. Maybe they will find a way to let you do both somehow in the future. Like even hopping onto the server as a guest who cannot build things but can still explore and interact with the world and other players would be amazing!
@M Oh god I know I have been saying this ever since battlerite. I need more mobas and action rgps to use this games skill based control mechanics. Few games isometric action games feel as good as stunlocks.
I actually like the starting over. Gives me a chance to get creative again and try new spots etc. With how far the updates are apart, doesn’t bother me.

This game is so underrated. I don't get why it's not more popular. Seems people just write it off based on a few screenshots. But there's so much cool stuff in this game that you need to play to experience.
I think once it hits 1.0 release, itll have a more stable following.
Buy lumberjack axe or hammer mine using copper coins and salvage them for 12 silver coins
dont forget to make your forge area "large" I mean I had to push mine to 5x6 tiles ..or maybe im bad a space management. Either way, just keep it on the large size, as you progress you run into many things that need forge tiles.
I'm so glad they removed glass from the scourge stone recipe. It is so much easier to craft them now! :D
How do you craft glass , I bought it late and seen you use to have to kill the sun boss to make it, did they change it or no ?
@@DavidSmith-ls2gr You kill the glassmaker in the quartz quarry now. But tbh the best way to get glass is to just go to the gloomrot labs, a ton of glass drops there. Can also get glass from dunley monastery while you're getting scourgestones too.
@@SikGamer70 well since there is the quartz zuarry. u can just send thralls there to get a crap load of quartz
glass is also used to make canisters for radium alloy so ya still need glass

Is Codiak the main guy in Legacy Gaming? I watched a lot of his videos on Lost Ark where i first met this channel. Super clear informations, straight to the point and always a pleasure to listen to the video overall. I might be drunk right now but damn... they always cover the stuff so quickly and clearly that its such an easy way to pick up the information and use it yourself. Love the channel and keep going !!!
Codiak is who you'll mainly see on camera and narrating the videos. Both Livid and Codiak handle playing/recording/reviewing/editing the videos. Livid also takes care of the graphics (in videos/thumbnails/overall channel design)

Can Onyx Tears be target farmed from any bosses in the game or is this a craft only item?
I don't know if it was mentioned or not in the video I kinda skipped around but there is a vendor in gloomrot now you can buy the shattered weapons with Onyx tears

Stuck at lvl 47 I have full hallowfang,Iron weapon and ring of the duskwatcher.. but can’t beat the boss to get human form to get to merchants.. pls help
Keep trying. Get buffs, good blood and wait for blood moon if you have to. Or just ask the people on your server for help.
I have no clue how to progress from Dawnthorn to Bloodmoon. I just have to do the next few bosses way underlevelled or is there a gearset in between?

I'm having a hard time farming the ghost mushrooms for end game gear. Is there a better way to harvest this other than running around the Cursed Forest?
Curse Weavers drop them and brighthaven merchant sells seeds.

i think there is a new type of wood " gloom wood" that also can be refined to make planks and make ghost mushrooms

How do I get fish oil and fish bones? Used to be able to put the fish in the devourer to salvage, but I'm unable to do that now. Is there a new v blood required to be killed for this feature/function?
Gloomrot is the best place to get both. Rustlock village is great for fish bones and pretty much everyone in the zone can drop oil

In terms of bosses, we literally just go up the list as we hit upgrade milestones.

Dude does not mention servants a single time.. If you get them set up early.. they can help you sooooo much. It's crazy. They can effectively cut your farming in half. Also he emphasizes the shit out of silver coins.. I don't know why.. just play the game there is no need to speed run.. I've never cared for the vendors usually by the time I unlock the next research station I have a million of whatever it needs.. and can unlock half the recipes instantly. I guess if you are looking to speed through this content as fast as possible and then be bored in 40 hours then this is a great guide.

@Legacy Gaming at one point you had to kill Christina the Sun Priestess , now you have to defeat the glass blower girl for the glass recipe

If they add a new stuff there will be for sure. On official V Rising servers you even have "6 months reset" in server's name. Maybe it means that they're already planning new things?
@@aresek100 still why do personal saves have to be screwed? In future updates stuff will be added. Rn it was a complete rework. But will the game be reworked entirely in every update?
@@the12theidolon12there is still another entire biome they are going to be adding so when that's added they will likely make other map tweaks which will require a wipe. It's just par for the course with games like this. I don't mind it. Gives you a chance to reimagine your base and be more creative.
@The 12th Eidolon because your old save isn't compatible with the update. That isn't exactly the case, but that is the best way to put it in layman's terms.
It's standard industry practice for early access titles, "server wipes" are ubiquitous at this point.

what is the point of reaching "end game" fast? there is No "end game" in this game. there are no special events or tasks or anything else for those who reached the highest level, not even new decorations for your castle to play with.
It matters when it comes to PvP servers
Literally no progression tips other "horde silver coins to make gold coins!" a recipe locked behind a level 64 boss.
Why would you want to get through the content faster, this game has enough content for like 2 weeks at most, other than that its only pvp.
