The centurion( Roman) wow !saw Jesus Authority . True Faith must be biblical , grounded on the promises of God True Faith it produces obedience.there should be a connection Wow ! (Jesus is not there to be tried He will not transform you unless you follow him.(Amen). Faith and deeds go together. There must a change in my life,( pledge Allegiance to the king ). Oh yes! The spiritual house we are building is coming up. Last week, we laid the foundation with repentance; today, we are adding faith. Faith, trust, and confidence are essentials in our relationship with God, as you mentioned. Without these, there is no Christianity. Pardon my extended writing. I am following your series and enjoying it, making analysis and synthesis. At this point, let me introduce a person who exemplified "building a spiritual house." He is in the person of George Muller. Your husband may have read about him. (He loves to read about people of faith. I remember his story of Joseph Akwari, Billy Graham and his friend who became an atheist, and C.S. Lewis quotes) Muller was once a thief and a gang member but repented and built a solid trust in the Lord. With that trust, he relied solely on God to provide for him to found an orphanage. He was successful and did fantastic work for the Lord.
