Hi Mel! My craftroom is my procrasticlutter area. I did straighten it up yesterday it was super messy. Now I can get in there and start cluttering it again.

Melinda, this was a great declutter. Isn't it funny that we can put off something for months or even years, and then it suddenly is the right time to tackle it.
I think that you've decluttered so much lately, that now you have room to relocate some of this closet stuff.

Yes! That's absolutely it! Other things had to be decluttered in order to make room. 🤗💕
A lot of the cards and photos in the closet were from decluttering. I had cards and photos on the shelf already, so as I found more, I put them in the closet. I wanted to have all of them together before I started organizing.
That was good start to what will be a overall great de-clutter. Closets are just so fascinating. I enjoyed watching-looking forward to part two aka the top shelf LOL.

My project today was books. We have so many kids books that nobody reads anymore. It was time to pass them on.

▫️ 7. Rake carpet & Vacuum slowly - did bedroom & short hall Friday.
✔️ 8. Change bed linens - did it Saturday
✔️ 9. Check refill list
▫️10. Upd & Back-up: iPad & iPhone. Need to clean up devices 1st
✔️11. Add weekly note to Good Things Jar
▫️12. Clean CPAP machine - I’ll do this in the morning.

Hello! I really like the shoe holder for all the items. The mittens and umbrellas were made for it! I have never seen a shoe holder that lays the shoes on the side. I think this is why it works so well. 😊

Cheers on conquering the closet! When spring hits, I will go through the men’s coats and shoes. I know some can go. We got the two loads of compost for the garden in this weekend. Then I made a seed order, two bathing suits, and my skincare order. . I spent Sunday on self care, with a fresh hair cut, some perfume samples, mani/pedi supplies.
I love that! It's good to make time for self-care. 🤗💕
I find I have to be in the mood too .... my storeroom was a mess, it was tidy a few months ago ... I just wasn't in the mood to tackle it .... then I was and I got through it quickly ... all in divine right order I like to say ...

Thank you, Patricia 🤗💕 I literally just finished editing a clutter maintenance video for tomorrow. 😂😂😂 I'm getting ready to upload it now. I might do a short maintenance video weekly and I want to get them done quickly, so I decided not to do a poem for them. I'll still do poems for other videos though. I still have lots to declutter. ❤️

I don't know of course, what's under the carpet, but, maybe you could put some peel and stick tile in there or something like that so that the floor would look nice and be easy to clean? Good declutter!
Thanks! It's hardwood, just like the hallway. We took the carpet out of the living room and hall several years ago, but didn't pull the stuff out of the closet. I'm so happy! I'm finally going to get that carpet out of there. 🤗💕

thanks for the encouragement. I went through some books and found I had some doubles so Iput them for goodwill. I have a lot of books, trying to get rid of ones I know I wont read.

Fantastic transformation! It goes to show that you don't have to do the entire thing at once to make a remarkable difference. You can come back to the top shelf another time and the closet will be super functional in the meantime. Did you put the special cards in your keepsakes tote? I was going to suggest removing the envelopes to save on space.
