IThe "2.2 HDI" acronym itself does not tell us much.
This acronym has only marketing value.
In fact, behind it there are 2 unrelated engines: PSA DW12...., 2179cm3 and Ford Duratorq ZSD-422, 2198 cm3 (Puma family, commonly designed by Ford-UK and PSA).
By the way, or some reasons many people think the Ford engine is designed in Germany(?!)
Until now I could not figure out which of two is used as "2,2HDI" in 2013 Boxer/Jumper.
The Wikipedia Ducato/Boxer/Jumper site states that the ZSD-422 was installed only until 2011. But the engines table on the same page it indicates that 2.2HDI is of PSA
DW family and has 2198cm3 which is just more confusing.
Generally, from what found, the PSA DW12 is considered more reliable.
Can anyone tell what engine i used on 2013 Peugeot Boxer/Citroen Jumper as 2.2HDI ???!!!
