Hey! Just wanted to chime in and say that for me I love speed builds on TH-cam that I can watch quickly at night after my baby is in bed. Real time builds are so cool but definitely harder to have time to watch xx I will watch the building tutorial in small chunks when I can... But yeah the shorter videos are appreciated too ❤ Also, this house is EPIC! So huge! I love that you build big homes, keep going for it honestly 😅❤
Also re: the conversions conversation, I think it's nice for a creator to give / have permission for conversions to take place. The process of creating high quality cc is super time consuming, especially compared to converting it (most of the time, MUCH faster) and while yes EA has rights, it's the creator's intellectual property and hard work, in a way. That said, I don't really know why you wouldn't be okay with conversions as long as due credit is given 🤷🤷 and there's nothing to stop any casual player from taking something created for TS4 and converting it to TS2 for their own private game - is that okay? Not okay? Or is it only if it is re-uploaded and shared that it's not okay? It gets tricky to navigate when you start to consider it from multiple angles but at the end of the day, a CC creator is creating *free content for a game, by EAs T&C's, not expecting to be paid for it (maybe asking for donations if people are willing) - so why is someone else taking it and making it available for other games in the franchise a big issue? So while I feel it's "nice" for permission to be given and received, it's probably not strictly necessary in my opinion.
My thoughts exactly. I know I personally don't have the skill set to create CC so I don't mind respecting a creator's wishes, but like dang don't you want your content to be shared to the community? Credit over permission any day in my opinion as well
Beautiful!! I wish I had access to TS2 lol also as far as TS5 goes, I spent too much money on TS4 and TS3, I'm not budging from these two. Plus EA is money-hungry and the love and care that they put into TS1, 2, and 3 was absent in TS4. TS5 is gonna be more heartless, money-grabbing bullshit, imo
I love bin sim idea! I was considering to build a hood consisting only sim bin sims and just play it and see how they interact with eachother. Would love to see your take on those sim families too Also I do love how you manage just build amazing homes/lots out of your sheer mind. They just look like something real architects would design!
i think cc creators are forgetting how collaborative making cc is. people provide resources and tutorials for free because its a hobby and they enjoy it!
I think is a fun idea for you to give homes for the sims that are in the sim bin 🙂 i sometimes do it with the townies and give them a fashion change. The house is amazing, really nice work! I am more of a tiny houses or smaller houses for my sims but i love this building

I've never done cc for sims, but as a modder of other games I do get some creators being irked if someone takes all their hard work and repurposes it without asking. I'd say always try to get permission first before doing anything with someone's work, but maybe that's just me? Personally I'd be thrilled if I made something and others wanted to remake it for another game! But I can see how some people wouldn't like that I suppose
Looking back on this video I feel like my stance has changed a lot and I now lean more on the creators' side. Like you said, people repurposing a creator's hard work without following their rules is more than enough reason to be pissed lol! Also I think it's really cool that you mod for other games :D

Precisely. Creator/player collaboration is a big reason the Sims games are still kicking no matter how old they are!
