We canned and froze so many stringbeans when our kids were young, my daughter hasn't been able to look at them for the last 40 years, love blacken redfish as most people I know.
I could sit and 10:43 to you tell stories of growing up ALLLL DAAAY LONG. I will say...i too snapped beans with my granny but i loved it. That fish looks so good. i think I can actually taste it.😅 ❤ I kewp aubbing you and others but for whatever INSANE reason EVERY SINGLE TIME I look you all up i have to SUB AGAIN. Anyway...thanks for the joy of your stories and for the recipes. You ROCK❤
When I was a kid what you are calling green beans were Kentucky Wonder Pole Beans AKA String Beans since before you snapped them you tore an end off and pulled the "string" out/off of the bean.

My daddy used to go to Grand Isle all the time and I loved it when he caught redfish… up to 32 pounds! Good eating! I miss him.
Sometimes nostalgic recipes are the best!
That fish looks perfect!!! Good job Bruce.
That looks amazing. I ate a lot of Red Fish when I was stationed in Corpus Christi and it was fabulous. I wish we had it in Illinois.
Love you King Bruce!!
