Ive noticed after collecting a total of 10 refined stone, that having the bandits outnumber your party helps with the rng a LOT. Having a horse archer build with a legendary bow helps solo Dajin parties that dont have archers. Dajin are a farm for legendary items. Especially Dajin Farmers. What you need, what everyone needs, is a fast crush through block weapon with high damage. Crush block works really well with twohanders, which is basically every podao in this mod. Also, if you have a ranged weapon that can "immobilize"(stun) opponents, you can use it to stop taoists from casting their aoe spell. My bow has done it enough times. The enemy has a blue dot over his head and just stops moving entirely for a few good seconds. And you can always lance in duels for easy mode. Also about the healing. It can either be getting the "on fire" stat boost that gives you agi and str(which gives temp hp), or it might be one of your companions, who has the "Doctor" career. I dont know if you have to stand near the guy for him to heal you when his ability gets activated, but i dont think its a passive. More like a "once during a fight" thing. You can easily check which of your companions has the doctor career by checking the npc careers when you look at quests.
Some com0anions are also superhumans in this mod. I have companions with over 3000 kills. And most have at least one legendary weapon, including those that I made vassals. Most fights, my companions get more kills than I do.

Man I having one of the weirdest mount and blade games. So the Shu conquered the Chu and together me (and my Zhao allies), Song and Liangshan have conquered the Han. Almost all of the former Chu and Han lords have joined the Sha, but the Sha ruler has gone completely insane and has banished all his original vassals. So now the Zhao are fighting the Sha, and fights are so bizarre because there are barely any Sha units in their own armies. The Sha ruler incidentally has one of the highest controversy rankings I’ve ever seen in Mount and Blade, all because of his Stalin like purge. Oh and the Han still exist. It has one vassal (who I assume is also the leader) and its the former ruler of Chu. They have no fiefs, but he still exists somewhere as a roaming, faction confused nomad.
Saw something like that in native warband before . King yaroglek of the vaegirs banished almost every lord and replaced the majority of all the vaegirs with rhodoks and some kergits . And since i was a vaegir he tried giving me every single fief that we captured or lost its owner . Which led to the new lords getting butthurt and subsequently banished a couple of which got banished from every remaining faction and a couple of them ended up leaving the realm entirely. A few of those ended up returning from exile just to leave over and over again . It was all rather funny but also a tad frustrating.
