I also managed to kill it thanks to this tactic. With the regular combat spec I always died at like 10% left. Using a hybrid sub/combat spec makes this a lot easier I think. You get 2x evasion, so with glyph full uptime, plus you get ghostly strike and riposte. Can only recommend to try this out. (Plus maybe pop an armor potion)

So I gave this a 1st try tonight, as heal Shaman. I used your guide to learn how to properly reset the boss and be able to fight him as Tiger. It took me a few attempts, since I have no vanish, I had to die 2 times cause I failed the reset and could no longer deaggro the boss. However, after about the fourth attempt I managde to get him to transform, and from there on it was an easy kill for me with Earth / Fire Ele and more than enough heal. And believe it or not I killed him and got the coolest damn mount, The Zulian Tiger! On my first solo kill ever on this Boss!!! I guess you can call me lucky! Holy cow!

if u use a 2nd raid spec (fok spec or assa+blade flurry for some naxx bosses) it's very doable without the cheesy resets. I do it every reset no need to respec to subtlety like some do if you are decently geared.
Do you just face tank all the mobs in AoE raid/kara farm spec?
@@slimegolem yes, u can deal like 70-80% of the adds hp in your evasion timer + with high agi values you can tank most of the rest + the usual wound poison to finish the priest and then you bandage -> finish the tiger, just like in the simon video you have to bring consumables and such.

How are you mitigating so much damage? I'm doing this in 12/17 best in slot gear and with a good reset I'm starting with 18k hp, still dying 90% of the time. I'm not using the evasion glyph but it feels like i'm missing something even more important that isn't covered here.
I do nothing besides using evasion, usually directly after first hit I take.
and yes I use the glyph at the moment cuz its so cheap to swap them but should be working withouth glyph as well, my first 3 weeks I did it without
just killed it with that strat. no tiger drop sadge but thanks for sharing this

Trying this the boss resets in pull 2 and runs back, it will NEVER aggro me, I have tried over 200 times now and it will NEVER aggro me.

I still use this method every 3days when ZG resets and works fine for me, usually takes me like 10-15 minutes to get a successful reset

How do you clear the trash and not die to axe flurry
only 1 group needs to be killed. right side. I sap one, the other one I kill instant and the second one I stun with 3-4 combo points. then kill tigers, then kill the one which is sapped. sorry for alte answer. good luck for the tiger

For some reason I get a successful reset pull, and I cant envenom???? Dont think I can kill him without it. (Posions are on.)
good question... my envenom always works, never got that error. sure about right poisons and right spec for using envenom? I know its a stupid question... but u never know, I think there is no bug which should "turn off" Envenom
@@mulltiy Poisons are 100% on, using raid spec. Could be a UI thing. Ill look into it.
Did you kill all the Elite Mobs before `?
only the right site were I kite them around. 3 elites there, 1 I sap, the other one I kill kinda instant and the next one I kill together with the tigers. then vanish, food if needed and kill the one I sapped

how do you enter the raid alone?
there is a script/macro which simulates u are in a raidgrp for like 1 second.
u spam it and try to enter.
u should find the macro kinda easy via google
Did not work for me, could not get the boss to go to P2.
mhhh, I usually need 5-6 trys to get a successfull reset.
first time I did it, it took me around 45 minutes.
dunno what you did wrong, but it definitely working, maybe u just need few more tries
just did it right now, 5 minutes ago. worked fine. took me like 8 times trying to make the reset. its not working perfectly but as more often u doing it, as better gets ur feeling for it

How did u manage to clear the trash solo?
only trash u need to kill is right site. I think it was 3 trolls and like 5-6 tigers.
to be honest I killed first attempt 1 troll and the tigers and then second attempt the other 2 trolls, so I died one time.
but just because they made their whirlwind which endless stunned me.
I guess AOE spec could solve that or just sap one and the other one blind if he wanna cast that and the first troll just hard focus. with evasion glyph u get like 20 seconds no dmg, so that helps here a lot as well if needed

This is poorly explained, the strat that is shown very rarely works. All you do is when you're running back ahead of the mobs, you simply re-aggro the boss before they get back to the platform, then run out and re-reset. This way works far more consistently.

You came at this video like people already know the start. Why are we resetting? What is the resetting doing? You gave so much detail with no context.
doing it perfectly as you show in the video, but when hes suppose to reset, the two minions also follow and he does not enter phase 2, fucking tilting me...
hard to say what exactly u doing not 100% correct, what u describe happens to me as well usually like 1-2 times before I make it successful, the reset strat is just not 100% reliable tbh.
maybe what u doing not complete accurate is on "second" pull to run around the corner and immediately run back into boss area when boss reaches corner of reset point, but just a guessing. I have the feeling this point is important for making it work more often.
but again, it takes me usually as well like 10 minutes to get it done

youre not even explaining what the goal of this is... like what are we looking for when you pull using this method? obviously P2 but how?
not sure exactly what u asking for, but I try to explain it in quick words:
a) pull
b) try to stack them, thats why I make that have circle and maybe run around that "tree"
c) reset them around the corner outside ->
d) come ahead of the 2minibosses and 2 tigers, thats why u stack them
d) so u arrive there after Boss, but before the other 4
e) stay on highest step on stairs to immediatly pull them when they reset
f) run directly outside to reset position
g) run back at the moment Boss reaches the corner to provocate this kind of reset u need
h) u know it succesfull if he stands still and other 2 minibosses despawn
i) kill boss
j) loot tiger
@@mulltiy The bug doesnt even make sense. Pulling the adds pulls everything, so why would it matter if you get back to the reset area before the 4 adds?
@@jumpingjumping7494 this is how I do it to reset the boss and play then the Boss alone with the 2 tiger but without the other 2 minibosses. if there is even a more easy way to reset them, ok good then.
I do it like this and it works fine. just like 2 hours ago I did it again, sadly not tiger still xD
@@mulltiy youre not understanding my question. I clearly know this is how you do your method. Thats not what im asking though. Im confused at how the mechanics trigger the phase change. Youre just doing the sequence because it works, im asking why it works...
@@jumpingjumping7494 The encounter gets bugged when you pull the second time because the 2 tiger adds have not fully returned to their starting position when you engage the boss. Combat essentially begins twice on one pull, once for the boss +2 tigers and a second time for the 2 minibosses, which confuses the game into giving you 2 seperate instances of "in combat". Since the boss is in a seperate combat instance than the 2 minibosses, the game thinks they're dead at the time of reset, which causes the boss to glitch into the next phase.
