Sometimes I will watch a video even though I already know the technique, just to see if the method is a little different or if there are any helpful tips. This is one of those situations, and by Thor you had not one but two useful tips: making the top seam 1/2" instead of 1/4" to make it easier to fold down the opening; and using a bit of glue to keep those flaps down when you stitch it shut. I appreciate that you showed the basket with the tissue box inside; really showed the size of the basket well, and gave some reference for the other second basket & little tray. Love your big press! Also I'm impressed that you managed to match the color of your nail polish exactly with the heads of your pins, LOL. I am IN LOVE with that Grinch fabric, especially when paired with the diagonal striped lining. Terrific video! Thank you for sharing it with us.
Totally love this thank you so much. If you wanted to cover your Kleenex box top could you just cut out the box top off. lay face down on fabric with glue , cut a quarter of an inch away from all the edges .clip oval and glued on the backside. And then just flip it over your Kleenex box and pull the Kleenex through. It would look like the lining. I’m going to try it
New subscriber! I love this fabric and have it!!! Even better was your description of how to get the directional fabric going in right position! Brilliant!!!! Heading to sewing room now!!! LOL
It is clear you have skill from sewing a lot of these. Thanks for making the time to show me how to make my own. Do you sell your fabric baskets? I love the tag as it give a nice finished look.🥰
Hi Angie, yippee I love this new version of working with directional fabric! I have the same Dr. Seuss fabric and used a polka dot fabric which is really colorful for the liner. What is the pad you have under your thick wool mat? I have the the large wool mat as well but since I purchased the Cricut Press and press on my sons desk in his old room I don't want to ruin the furniture under it. I luv that a kleenex box fits in this basket, I am planning on making one for my M-I-L. Thanks for the helpful tutorial and I would really love to have a crafty girls weekend next summer! Hugs, Gale The Happy Stamper :)

It's a countertop ironing board that I bought on Etsy. Sadly the lady has closed her shop.
Hello! Beautiful project! Do you sell the baskets?
