That was a nice shave Johan, especially with that square pointed blade. My square points still scare me, quite a bit! I like my Dubl Duck Dwarf. It does a great job. I think I will be experimenting with trying to hone the perfect edge, for the rest of my days! Take care, my friend.

Since you asked for help on sharpening ... Generally, if you can't get a final edge that is sharp enough, it means that you did not refine the edge enough on previous stones. To know how far to go, I suggest a good, consistent, method of testing. I have two videos that attempt to explain the basics of razor sharpening; "Honing Principles and What's the deal with Stainless Steel", and "Sharpening Fundamentals. Honing an Ern Razor". I hope there's something in there that is helpful. Alternatively, all of my videos are excellent remedies for insomnia.

Before the introduction of zero, accountants and moneychangers used acciunting boards - using small stones, calculi. Now theyre reduced to beans... And I suppose that the office party is just a "vorspiel" befor you start the 17 May celebrations. Whaddaya mean, 6 June?
