Nice razor! Judging by the style it's most likely from between 1785 and 1800. The scales are likely either water buffalo or cow horn...likely the former.

Nice video!!! I visited Pasteur pharmacy and chatted to Leon, about 10 years ago.... He gifted me a bunch of samples. He's from Brooklyn. I bought so many soaps that I still have a few unopened soaps.... I loved the time I spend browsing the store over 3 visits. The enthusiasm for shaving is not as much as it was back then but I'll visit the place again next year. I must visit Sweden too, I've been to Norway and Denmark and Sweden is in my list of places to visit.

There’s a shop near me that sells German straight razors. If you buy from them, they will sharpen it for free for life.

It probably just me, but I find it difficult to combine "nick Cave" with "GOLDEN oldies"... Water everywhere isn't much of a USP for Stovkholm: Copenhagen is on an island and has both a seafront and canals. Heck, even Barrogance of the nollhas water everywhere -often, it's enought to open a window and a door to find it... And the arrogance/poshness of the noll-åtta people might not the toruist magnet they hope it is 🙂 Did you pick up any Danish shaving soaps while you were there?
