- This was a feast to the eye and the ear, eye candy and ear candy !!! This screams American pop but it doesn’t feel forced nor pushed on the girls, quite the opposite in my opinion, it felt very natural and the girls killed it. I said it previously already but whenever they sing in English their sass, attitude, sexiness comes out and you can definitely tell here! PLUS THE LYRICS!!! It’s got that innocence and sweet appearance but then if you know, YOU KNOW nsnsnsnsn
Jisoo killed her part! I doesn’t look like she has that much lines unfortunately but she killed the lines she had! Lisa absolutely destroyed that rap part (plus I love that they kept some Korean in here to really highlight the east and west collab), her line with the Mona Lisa is ICONIC! Rosé and Jennie truly come through with their vocals in English and made that song a lot more spicy in my opinion. The MV felt like one cohesive MV even though Selena and BP weren’t together is still felt like one piece so props to the editing team lol
Loved this release and I hope we would get a photobook for this as well because it’d be a shame to not get to see more of the looks in here cause the SERVE!

As someone who listens to basically every kind of genre underneath the sun except for gangster rap I really enjoy this song! Sure, it's more american pop than K-Pop, but that's fine! It's a collab with Selena, so naturally it was going to be more light-hearted and chill-low-vibe-y than your average K-Pop song. And that's okay too. Let's be real; Kiss & Make Up wasn't that much of a masterpiece either, but people still enjoyed it. I just think that people get too over-hyped all by themselves and then blame the artists for their shattered expectations lol. One thing I do hope tho is that Jisoo and Rosé will get Selenas lines when BP performs this song live :)

I think all of the girls did good on their behalf but I think the producers could have done a little better. Their vocals are all nice but the instrumental is kind of weird in my opinion. Also I loved Jisoo’s part so I hope she gets to sing Selena’s lines in live performances because she sounded really good

Jisoo doesn't have a lot of lines, but we have to remember that isn't a title track. Not every song on an album will feature every member equally and that's fine. If she didn't fit this song as much as the other members I don't see an issue with that.
The issue would start if the whole album had a distribution like this.
And yeah, I know she usually gets the least amount of lines, but considering that this is a 4 member group, she still gets quite a bit of lines compared to other idols.

This was so fresh and refreshing coming from them honestly! Many people, myself included, have been hoping to see something "different" from them and I'm glad to see this side of them! Even though I liked it I can't help but feel like Jisoo could have had more lines... like ... come on. I know that there's a possibility that she wasn't feeling comfortable singing in English but she did such an amazing job here that I wished she was given more. honestly same , there was a lack of jennie rap, and lack of vocals coming from jisoo and rose, would probably have been much better if the distribution wasnt so awful
selena have the second most line,, it's fair enough since it's blackpink with selena gomez. not blackpink ft. selena gomez. it's also just a 3 minutes song and she really add new flavor to blackpink song. this collab is already a big project and it's just a single from their upcoming album. i can't wait to see how they are going to top this song. :)

I said something really similar in one of my pervious video. It's a something I've noticed as well, not only for BP but for other groups as well. This mentality of "if you don't like this song then you must be a hater" which I truly cannot understand. I will never force myself to like something because it is from my favorite group because where's the enjoyment then? You can still support and love a group and not like a song, that doesn't make you less of a fan!

I only liked three of the songs they released since 2018 (Forever Young, See U Later & Don't know what to do) and I like everything up to AIIYL way more. It's not their fault ofc, the girls still do amazing & I wish them nothing but success, but their current music isn't what I fell in love with in 2016 anymore.
