Thanks for your videos. I flew my first Vatsim flight this evening (VFR transition through controlled airspace). Studying your videos and spending some time on PlaneEnglish beforehand made the stage fright so much easier to manage.
Clarification question: When I look at Brainard on airnav or skyvector, it lists Yankee Approach (which is Bradley approach on VATSIM) as providing approach and departure services for KHFD. So is the approach controller here actually "overstepping" at all or wouldn't he be the next controller "Up" from KHFD tower and therefore have the responsibility?
I'm surprised you haven't snagged the G1000 mod from Working Title off the MSFS Marketplace - it makes the default G1000 look like a Mapsco with tin cans on a string lol. But great video. I want to try VFR on VATSIM but it seems much more daunting than IFR.
I get the feeling he does this as vanilla as possible. I don't think I've seen him with any mods on his videos- scenery, systems, or otherwise. (No KHFD from flightsim.to, G1000NXi, etc.)
