In this video, we take out the Cessna 172 from an uncontrolled airport and then fly to one that has a ground controller using flight following provided by a center controller (ARTCC).
Great video, especially since I'm in CT (SECT) and I fly these airports all the time in MSFS. One question, often, the taxiway markings in the sim aren't always what they are on the official airport maps. What is the preference? I think in this case you were on bravo as shown in the sim, but the real life was charlie, so I'm assuming you always follow the airport diagram?
Can I ask for a bit of advice? I see that when you manipulate your radio control knobs, you still have the little arrows pop up. Well, since I updated FS at the weekend just gone, my knobs light up bright yellow when I hover over them and I have to move the mouse. Aaargh! Same for you and did you disable that mode or something? Thanks.
Great video. I want to get on vatsim and going VFR with flight following seem like a good way to start.
7:15 Don't mind me, just inspecting the runway...
you kinda sound a little like howard hamiln

Missed out on the freeware Windham airport on Flightsim.to. :-)

always trust charts with the most up to date airrac over information in any simulator
