    The real time playthrough and recording was damn tight! That was great man 🙏 Definitely get your feeling with the pads during day time :)

      Hey thanks Atlas Castle, very happy to see you - talented user of the Circuit Tracks here (among others😉) - here and really pleased you enjoyed the video (and feel the same way about the lighting of the pads!) 🤗

    Lovely piece of analog goodness,,the circuit tracks is really impressive and quite similar to the mc707 ,,😉👍👍jaffa

    • @2MinuteWarning
      @2MinuteWarning  ปีที่แล้ว

      Though not analog, those 2 instruments can indeed bring that analog vibes 😉 I think that the MC-707 is probably more powerful than the Circuit (wish the Circuit had a screen, faders, more effects, tracks etc. 😅 )

    Why am I seeing allot of Circuit tracks + JU-06 combos trending on TH-cam. These videos are giving me gas for the Ju-06

    • @2MinuteWarning
      @2MinuteWarning  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually I think that there was no particular reason I used both instruments! I agree it's a nice combo and the JU-06A can easily be sequenced and fed into the Tracks creating a small, independent & very mobile setup 😉

    This is rad! So the chords are on the JU06a using MIDI, but the bass line is using Tracks’ inbuilt synth engine? Is that a stock patch bass sound? It’s great

    • @2MinuteWarning
      @2MinuteWarning  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey thanks fior the nice comment Indoor Fins, really gald you enjoyed it! You are right for both points: the chords are coming from the JU06A sequenced by the MDI 1 track from the Circuit and the bass line is indeed from the Tracks' synth engine using a stock patch bass sound. If I recall correctly, one of the first presets which I tweaked a little bit with the 3-4 of the macro knobs. (The drum sounds are also from the factory presets which I also just tweaked a bit with the 4 knobs to fit the mix 😉)

    Great content! Do you know how to turn on and off the Ju-06a Sequencer when press play?

    • @2MinuteWarning
      @2MinuteWarning  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi, glad you enjoyed it!
      Actually the starting of the JU-06A was a happy accident for this video, however I never tried to find out how to turn if off 😅
      As far as I know, there's a MIDI Clock source option that you can set to INTERNAL. Haven't tried it yet, but maybe this setting might prevent the JU-06A sequencer's from starting when you start a master device from which the JU-06A is synchronized?

  • @Hazardbee123
    @Hazardbee123 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    It's so great! I have those two instruments but I am not even able to connect them properly. The yu06a starts only making klick sounds and the circuit tracks stop's taking Inputs on the synthesizers. I'm devastated

    • @2MinuteWarning
      @2MinuteWarning  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your comment Hazardbee123!
      Concerning your issue, don't worry we'll try to sort it out 😉
      Could you please explain how you connected these 2 instruments & how would you like them to operate between themselves, please? (Which one is the master and which the slave for example?)

    • @Hazardbee123
      @Hazardbee123 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@2MinuteWarning i would love to play them like you did, circuit tracks midi out to ju06a midi in. Everything else now disconnected except on the circuit the left and right Audio out (with 2 big Klinke to aux) and the power cables.
      Thank you so much sir!

    • @2MinuteWarning
      @2MinuteWarning  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ok I see 😉 And how are you routing the JU06a's audio, please?

    • @2MinuteWarning
      @2MinuteWarning  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm reading again your comment ("The yu06a starts only making klick sounds and the circuit tracks stop's taking Inputs on the synthesizers") and must say that it is quite a strange issue. If you connnected the MIDI OUT of the Circuit to the MIDI IN of the JU06a, I can't really understand why the Circuit "stops taking inputs" > maybe you could describe a little bit more what you mean by the Circuit stops taking input, please?

    Hi, I was looking at getting a circuit tracks to go along with my boutique tb-03, just had a few questions,
    -What cables would you need to sync the boutique to the circuit?
    -Could you record the entire song(circuit+03), using an audio interface, into FL studio or any other DAW?
    Excellent tune!

    • @2MinuteWarning
      @2MinuteWarning  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi brokenpoolhall, thanks for the nice feedback!
      To sync the TD-03 with the Circuit, you'll just need a classic MIDI cable (5 pin din connector). Then you have 2 possibilities to record the audio in your DAW:
      1- Route the audio of the TD-03 into the Circuit's audio input (you could then use the reverb, delay but more likely the nice sidechain feature of the Circuit 🤩) then just connect the Circuit stereo outs to your soundcard and record in your DAW on a stereo channel.
      2- Route the Circuit audio outs on a pair of inputs of your soundcard and the TD-03 audio outs to another pair of audio inputs of your soundcard. The advantage of this routing is that you cana process post-recording the 2 instruments individually (but you'll loose the TD-03 being effected and sidechained by the Circuit)
      So it all depends on what you'd like to do. Hope this helps!

      @@2MinuteWarning Thank you so much, just ordered a circuit tracks, because of this video! I didn’t realize how much potential it has, as a hardware hub!, one other question, if I load up some breakbeat loops, onto the circuit tracks, would the tb-03, and break automatically quantize?

    • @2MinuteWarning
      @2MinuteWarning  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually the Circuit Tracks is quite limited when it comes to manipulating samples (maybe the Circuit Rhythm would be more suitable if you want to mangle/slice samples, loops etc.). I think that the Tracks is nice if you want to use its synth engine (2 tracks), one-shot samples for drums for example (4 tracks) and control external instruments with its 2 MIDI tracks (which the Rhythm doesn't have).

    Actually I am trying to study your cable hook up from the pic. Am trying to do same thing with the JU-06A and Circuit Tracks. Only difference is I have the 25K keyboard docked to JU-06A and want to be able to use that keyboard with Circuit sounds. Is this that complicated to accomplish? Had someone say that I needed a TRS MIDI Type A adapter. Can you please explain. Thanks

    • @2MinuteWarning
      @2MinuteWarning  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't tried connecting the JU-06a's MIDI OUT to the Tracks' MIDI IN, but it is surely possible with a standard 5-Pin Din MIDI cable as both synth have these connectors (don't really know why TRS MIDI was recalled here?) Then you just have to set the JU-06a's clock as the slave, and set up the right MIDI channel on the JU-06a for the track you want to play on the Circuit Tracks' and theorically you'll be able to use the K-25m to play the Circuit while the JU-06a is being synced to the Circuit's clock. Hope that'll help!

    Great performance, how do you record such long phrases, did you combine the patterns and record it? How can I do that, can I also do that in circuit rhythm?

    • @2MinuteWarning
      @2MinuteWarning  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Morris, glad you enjoyed it 😃
      Concerning the bassline, as I knew that I wanted to record an 8-bar sequence, I just setup the 8 patterns for the Synth1 track to chain (by holding the first pattern and then the last=8th one). And that's it!
      As I don't have the Rhythm, I can't answer for sure, but I guess that it is also possible (as I also have the Circuit Mono Station and the same thing can be done on its sequencer) 😉
