Thank you for budget build , everyone shows maxed out builds for hailey , after your video i might try to play hailey :) Subbed and i hope for more budget builds for other descendants !!! The weapon has catalysts & Activator though but its normal the point is that descendant doesn't , the weapon is still an investment for all others descendants so no worries.
Just tested the dmg between Power Increase and Chill Specialist mods. Chill specialist mod gives 500k+ more dmg to Ability 2 and 250k+ more dmg to Ability 4 than Power Increase mod. Thanks for mentioning this! 🤟
I mean Ability focus builds fall off on the hardest bosses. So you’ll end up needing Shot Focus regardless. You can’t burst down Gluttony with abilities, he currently has the highest ability damage resistance. So you’ll end need gun damage aka Shot Focus would help. It took me 1 month to get shot focus, so if you aren’t purposely combining for it then you’re making it worse on yourself.
@@ImEcchi This build only highlights and targets hard mode bosses 1-5 from Executioner to Swamp Walker at a fairly budget level. Therefore I do not highlight this build to be used from any of the hard mode bosses beyond Swamp Walker as they require a build that would be more fully built to clear them reasonably. I have Shot Focus but not everyone does, nor will it fit into the build with the budget mod capacity. I intended to provide a build that even I still use just to clear all soloable bosses in hard mode with ease at a low budget without investing too many resources. Eventually all descendants will get an ultimate version, so I save up resources to invest in those in the future.

I only invested heavily in a normal descendant when I started out; now I only invest my resources in the ultimate versions and, although Hailey is good, my Gley or Lepic don't disappoint in the slightest and make the investment worthwhile.. and now it's time to prepare, as the Ultimate Freyna is coming soon
The 2nd ability hits harder so if you use dangerous ambush and down the boss with the 4th first. You end up hitting for a lot with the 2, and it should be enough to kill them if they don’t already die from the 4’s sniper shots. But I’m not sure if it can work in a budget build to one shot like that. All I know is people run gold crit rate on their reactor + her 3rd ability and it’s enough for 100% crit rate. So you could swap out a purple mod for the blue crit damage to hit even harder. It’s also a must to farm for reactor since there’s a location for Afterglow and Piercing Light at Fortress. All you do is target farm for gold crit rate and easy wins. So that could be something you try, it may or may not even kill dead bride quicker.
Reversing the order into starting with Ability 4 into Ability 2 is somewhat viable for only Pyromaniac and Executioner runs. With this build, opting for a gold crit rate reactor will make the crit rate go from 86%~ max stacks to 71%~ max stacks with ability 3. Crit Damage goes from 3.33 to 4.2 swapping purple crit mod for blue crit mod. Not a bad suggestion so it is up to the user to gauge what they personally want to build as it is hard enough to roll for the specific sub stats for reactors.
good build. I had alot of catalyst after full ult des (full invested),40+ catalyst. 10 energy activator while farming full copy all gun. 500 hours played 😅

I play the same way where I wait to invest my resources for the ultimate versions of descendants. Especially since the devs have said they are going to rework almost all of the ultimate weapons, I expect we are going to want to put activators and catalyst on the current non-meta weapons in the future. The budget build works fine BUT swamp walker is impossible (skill issue for sure since with controller its sometimes impossible with this game to hit small weak points) , i decided to go for full catalized pl but even with 7 shots one always miss or is not crit and the worst is the position for this boss, almost every time you get nuked if you try to think what to do :/ I will wait for a descent reactor since now i have purple not gold and the colosus/crit dmg are blue and i hope it will work next time lol . It's okay to fail early on! I'm glad you found the build helpful and to start your own Hailey build that works best for you! I hear you on the difference between aiming on controller and mouse in any game. Definitely matters a lot when fighting bosses in TFD. Keep it up man! 👍
I just went into Bunny Cave(Electric Void fragment) at Fortress. Used my own bunny to farm levels but you can run with others if you can't do it yourself efficiently. Make sure to have your sniper weapon in your hands so that it is getting the most exp when farming. Don't forget to use a Memory component that has Firearm Proficiency Modifier to get more weapon exp.
One question, do the modules you use on the weapon apply to Hailey's 4th skill? ( Weak point expansion, action and reaction, focus fire , etc ) Nixe video bro
For this build specifically. Yes. If you want to try with afterglow sword, you would have to match the reactor and also have skill critical hit rate + Colossus atk. You would also need to switch out Front Lines mod for Skill Concentration mod to add more crit damage since afterglow has less overall damage than piercing light.
Yup, elemental dmg mods don't transfer dmg to 4th ability from piercing light so I opted to open mod space. 4 shots from Ability 4 is enough to solo most soloable bosses.
Can get this working for all bosses except swamp walker he never goes down when I use my 2 ability then he kills me straight away pyro boss works fine , skill issue I guess
Swamp Walker is the one boss that won't go down from Ability 2 shot with this build but will go down if you weakpoint hit with Ability 4 to follow up. Try to specifically stand where I am at 0:47 so he uses weak machinegun attack.(Coincidence or not it has worked more than once lol)
Sometimes the boss won't stagger with or without a crit on the first shot with Ability 2. Try your best to hit the weakpoint on every boss at the start with your Ability 2 shot, then follow up with another weakpoint hit with your Ability 4.

@@AA-ts4ff Piercing light is what I personally use because the firearm atk is higher on Piercing Light than on Afterglow Sword. Afterglow sword has a little better crit scaling but I made the budget build around Piercing light to work despite that. So you can use Afterglow sword with a matching reactor but you would have to personally tweak that build around the Afterglow Sword. You get 86% skill crit rate from the Piercing Light build in the video which is enough to crit consistently most solo bossing runs.

I don't get how this works, for me as soon as the boss spawns he kills me instantly, don't even have the time to stagger him with my 2, i feel like HP mod really is needed here. Skill issue i guess
You have to be close enough and time the Ability 2 to fire as soon as the box hitbox is vulnerable when they spawn. That way, if your Ability 2 hits properly and crits, the bosses fall down and stagger(activating dangerous ambush bonus damage). Follow it up with the shots from Ability 4 and you nuke it down without taking ANY damage. It takes some time and practice, we all start from somewhere. I can cover this and other tips in a future video.

@@theonemangang4659 I would not recommend doing gluttony with this build as Gluttony is resistant to both Chill and Skill Damage overall. You don't need all copes of piercing light to make this build work. Molten Fortress should be alright but I would recommend swapping components to opt for more survivability rather than slayer set for running Molten. i.e. Max Hp, Def, and Fire Resistance(Auxiliary component)
I personally have not tried the afterglow sword with this build. I would say that if you do try afterglow, you would need swap out the purple crit damage mod "Front Lines" for crit damage mod "Skill concentration". You would also need to find a matching reactor with afterglow sword and have skill crit rate/colossus damage.
Farm Amorphous Patterns that give Catalyst Blue Prints. Open the Amorphous patterns by either doing void reactors or doing boss runs. Grind the materials to craft the Catalysts. Here is a guide I made for the quickest materials farms. th-cam.com/video/kv8yWcykYzE/w-d-xo.html
Defeating the bosses will allow you open certain amorphous patterns to get blue prints for desired weapon and descendant parts. The bosses also drop equipment and modules for descendants. Think of killing bosses as like getting a key to open a chest.
This is NOT a build video about being the strongest final build for Hailey. It is a build meant to showcase how you can solo boss with Hailey easily without having to invest in expensive resources like an Energy Activator or any Crystallization Catalysts.
0 Magazine modules gives 4 shots to Ability 4. 2 Magazine modules (At 2:30 in video) Maximize Weight Balance and Expand Weapon Charge give a total of 7 shots to Ability 4.

Nice budget build, try swapping your power increase for focus on chill/ chill specialist, way better damage scaling

Along with the 2 ammo mods, and slayer set, if you roll 12% rounds per mag on the PL you can get an 8th shot for zenith.
My Hailey will be done in few hours, this will be a good starting builld. Thanks

You best bet would be try this build with the Purple Sniper "Forest Gaze" as it has the highest firearm ATK of any other purple sniper.

2:22 Mag Mods can give more shots and the damage mods except attribute enhancing mods transfer over.

Why weapon crit rate on the weapon?
Because your 4th Ability (Zenith) takes the stats of your current Equipped weapon which stacks with the Ability 2 Buffs.

Yes these are all hardmode bosses. Normal bosses would not survive millions of dmg per shot compared to hardmode bosses.
