The whole catrp crew seem like genuinely good, likeable people, but brother Dave seriously seems like one of the nicest, wholesome people I’ve ever seen.
Another great episode. I really hope that you keep this series going for as long as you can as it's interesting, engaging and fun. I look forward to it being uploaded each week.
I hope y'all pick this back up in the future and continue on the steps to making it full time. Obviously I know it's already full time for the team anyways but for others to see how it's done.
Second sale you went to where you’re talking in the back of the van you can see my wife and I pull up behind you😂 have no idea how I didn’t notice it was you I was following but I wish I would have because I’ve been wanting to meet you in person one of these days going to sales! Been watching your videos for years and blew my chance😑😂
This show is the highlight of my week!!🎉 I always look forward to it. Also big thanks from a collectible reseller for showing reselling from that perspective! Ive learned a lot from your channel!
I have to say I'm loving this challenge series. It's possibly my favourite you guys have done on both channels. I'm a brit so interested in hearing if there's and other brits in the discord? Because if there is I might join ☺
We have quite a few international people! The markets are definitely different, but the business principles still apply and there’s great advice from our international users
I've had the return started but them never sending it back to me so many times. I've always figured they just want you to initiate the refund so they get the money and the product.
Love the series! However, I feel this connection with the toy guy and deals you’ve gotten with him shouldn’t count for this series since it is attempting to simulate “starting a resell business from scratch.” My reasoning is this guy is longer term connection of Chase’s if I’m not mistaken? A new reseller wouldn’t have that connection or “life line” to get such amounts of inventory. Does my thinking make sense or am I off the wall? Thanks and will continue to watch!
I have to agree with this one... If the challenge is "start business from scratch" then you can't include these high value connections. Like, I can "start an ebay business from scratch" too, and then I just go to a buddy who is generously giving me thousands of dollars in inventory for like $100. That's not a good series to watch. For the most part I've loved this series but these deals with connections kind of take away from the challenge. I wish it would have *just* stayed garage saling only. But I mean of course if you have connections you would be foolish not to use them. It just doesn't work for this particular challenge.
Just when I don't think I couldn't like you guys any more, you show support for Henry Cavill and call out James Gunn. Love it! Also, really enjoying these videos.
Does selling on discord contribute to your eBay total?? if I were eBay I wouldn’t be counting money that you made from other platforms like Facebook or what not so why would I count discord. You partnered with eBay for this challenge right? I’m confused.
Love all the content, thank you for showing us how to start a business on ebay from basically nothing, can you guys please show the boring part of how you exactly package certain items and your best way of how to figure out calculate and pay for shipping, and where exactly do you drop the items off, that whole side of the reselling business im still intimidated and confused by.
Unfortunately, no. If you send an item to someone and they initiate a return with the "doesn't work or defective" reasoning, eBay will automatically approve the return and make you pay the return shipping and give a full refund. eBay tends to favor the buyer in the return situation over the seller because they want buyers to have confidence when making purchases on the platform. As you continue to sell, you just learn that it is a cost of doing business, don't let it discourage you. Returns usually account for 2-3% of your sales, it is not a rampant issue most of the time.
My thoughts on yard sales if you’re going to ask online sale prices, why don’t they sell it online to get the price they’re asking. But, understandably people are hoping to sell to someone who wants it n might just resell it themselves
I would have offered no more the 400-500 for the lot. So much work into those figures regardless if you lot them up or not. Super cool find still, especially the street fighters.
Wouldn’t selling the DC figures to a discord member go against the challenge since it’s a eBay challenge? In a earlier episode you used that reasoning when you said you wished you could sell something to Chase but you can’t because it’s a eBay challenge and you also passed on an item because it was too big and you said you couldn’t sell it on marketplace because again… it’s a EBay challenge. So I feel like the DC deal goes against the challenge rules.
Selling to a Discord member is not against the rules, it’s a benefit of joining the Discord. It’s not selling to Chase, and we still have to find a buyer. First, a Discord member isn't Chase. Second, we don't add the sales of the discord buy to our overall eBay sales, it’s simply to make money back for the business as a whole. The sale doesn’t go towards our goal, so the sale isn’t helping us in any way other than making the items we kept cheaper. Since the goal is to grow a business, one of the necessary things is to do what’s best for the business. In this example, it was liquidating some items so we can get cash flow to ultimately BETTER the eBay side of things. Examples of this outside the challenge would be people taking down listings that have dropped in value, and selling them locally instead of eBay to not lose money in time and fees.
I took a new store to rather moderate success within 30 days with only drop shipping. But dang, the buyers can be ruthless. I think that's the hardest part, being abused left and right by them.
I really want this to keep going
^^^^
I agree, this is a great series on the channel!
Agreed, such an awesome series
Completely agree
Agree !
The whole catrp crew seem like genuinely good, likeable people, but brother Dave seriously seems like one of the nicest, wholesome people I’ve ever seen.

Yes great series here. Gotta keep it going!!
Sweep out the van!
If you’ve got a plush Ledyba, I’ll take it! ;)
These guys are great! I’m especially fond of Brother Dave.
You keep finding stuff I’d love to get, but I can’t find any of your stuff when I search on eBay 🙈
This series has been a great success and so much fun to watch n enjoy.
Glad to hear it!!
Paslode is a great brand to resell. I've sold a bunch of nailers I picked up on clearance various places.
I've had the return started but them never sending it back to me so many times. I've always figured they just want you to initiate the refund so they get the money and the product.
Case is right he's not the master it's his granny 😂😂❤
like and then watch - greetings from Switzerland
Slice figures into multiple sets by theme and count potential value vs. whole package?
Good luck
Those Minecraft plushies alone are super worth it excited to see how much you guys get for the Pokémon plushies as well.
Good job on calling tails after the heads fail earlier in the series!
Also T-shirts with "LISTING MONTAGE" ......
Love those pokemon you got😍

no but every one has family and friends to buy stuff from 1st dibbs.. everyones situation is going to be different w different starting points.
@lyndza1989 that's a great perspective

Wish would actually get game stuff more
Brother Dave is my fav! #obrother
Just when I don't think I couldn't like you guys any more, you show support for Henry Cavill and call out James Gunn. Love it! Also, really enjoying these videos.
It needed to be said! Thanks for watching 😊
Can I buy the raichu plus
Does selling on discord contribute to your eBay total?? if I were eBay I wouldn’t be counting money that you made from other platforms like Facebook or what not so why would I count discord. You partnered with eBay for this challenge right? I’m confused.
The money is not counted towards the goal
If the items never reached them, you should be able to get your money back on insurance.
Exactly. Now USPS Ground Advantage includes $100 of insurance.
22:14 So you're telling me there's a chance?
Make counter offers
I want to join the discord so bad because I need help but I cant afford $15 a month on top of everything else right now sadly, some day ill be in it!

A stupid question as a "new" eBay seller. If someone claims something is not working. They have to prove it, right? No matter how high their rating?
Unfortunately, no. If you send an item to someone and they initiate a return with the "doesn't work or defective" reasoning, eBay will automatically approve the return and make you pay the return shipping and give a full refund. eBay tends to favor the buyer in the return situation over the seller because they want buyers to have confidence when making purchases on the platform. @@kingmilk10 Thanks for the clear answer! It's a shame eBay works like this. Discourages honest sellers to do business. Lesson learned tho..
My thoughts on yard sales if you’re going to ask online sale prices, why don’t they sell it online to get the price they’re asking. But, understandably people are hoping to sell to someone who wants it n might just resell it themselves
Killing it guys!
Kinda hurt that Bro. Dave obviously had no idea who the Street Fighter characters were. 😆
😂
Please don’t end the series when you hit the goal 😭
I would have offered no more the 400-500 for the lot. So much work into those figures regardless if you lot them up or not. Super cool find still, especially the street fighters.
I can't believe you haven't ran into another printer
I would not have made the DC hero deal, however. those Street Fighter figures. 1000% banger move.
So I feel like the DC deal goes against the challenge rules.
live a little mate
Agreed. I was looking forward to knowing whether this could be done according to the premise of the og challenge. It’s still fun to watch but….
nobody wants to admit it but you're 100% correct.
Selling to a Discord member is not against the rules, it’s a benefit of joining the Discord. It’s not selling to Chase, and we still have to find a buyer. First, a Discord member isn't Chase. Why do you guys take returns? When I sell stuff, I say no returns. It makes my life a whole lot easier.
What is the didcord?
Go to catrpcrew.com to find out!
❤
Brother Dave and Skylar need their own channel. Great series and fun to watch
No way! Majority of those figures are 5 bucks and under. You guys will probably have to bundle them. I would have offered 250...max
🐨
Someone tell me why I capped and cheered when Sky Guy said they reached $4,000+. #TooInvested
Why didn't you send the knives ground advantage with $100 insurance? Rookie mistake and it cost you.
I took a new store to rather moderate success within 30 days with only drop shipping. But dang, the buyers can be ruthless. I think that's the hardest part, being abused left and right by them.
So you're saying i can buy games from you play them and return them by saying i didn't like them? sounds like a nice renting system
Blame Ebay. Ebay always favors the buyer. It's one of the downsides of doing business online.
Getting so much out of this series
why you refund dude before he send tracking for xbox? console working and he lie and then he keep console and get money back
They didn't. He never sent it so they did not send the refund. They refunded for the PS2 Godzilla.
No jim carrys most annoying noise ever was worse😂
Starting with only 10 DAHLLERS
Wow! Great typewriter sale! I thought you would have trouble selling that! Impressive young jedi!
Skylar kinda look like a hooper ngl
You pay too much for the wii last week at the garage sale I paid 15.00 dollars plus 8 games no the popular games + accessories
Fake break finger L
I'm a simple man, I see a "Can I Restart My Business with Only $10?" episode, and I click.
I have a small pokemon game collection that I would love to ship to you guys for the series. Since I'm a discord member would it be allowed?
Message SkyGuy! We haven’t made buys on there for the challenge but if we continue we may!
Chase is humble, and definitely a master at reselling, well over 10,000 hours in the industry tells otherwise lol @catrpcrew
