I recorded and co-produced all the 13 Cats albums- I also did some songwriting and singing on a few songs! I can say without a doubt- CAT GRAY is an absolute music genius!!!! Unlike anyone else- he now is the "one man band" on the "Let's Make a Deal" tv show- CRAZY!!! Good Luck CAT- we had some great days!!!!!
I studied keys with Cat and had the best time ever. he tought me everything about machines way before nobody could use them... made me the musician I am today
I had the pleasure an honor to play guitar with Kat and Taka various times in their live playing workshops at MI ('89). And had lessons with Tory Ruffin, the lead guitar in the video. Amazing times.
Went to GIT when Cat & Taka were teaching there. Had me a "hall of shame" moment onstage with them. I can't improvise my way out of a wet paper bag, and Cat forced me to try in front of all my peers. Oh, the humanity. I think he was a wee bit disgusted with me LOL
This is cracking me up. I toured with him for a decade. The reason he’s not impressed with anyone is because he can come over pick up the instrument and play it better than all of us! Hahaha!

Cat and I toured together with Wayne Brady for a decade. I can attest to your assertion of his musical genius. I’m a better musician because of him.

I went to KIT at the time (1993-95). He was awesome but intimidating. Obviously hes a genius Keyboard player. No one ever impressed him. Good times.
