Otis Taylor : voix, guitare, banjo
Nick Amodeo : basse
Byron Cage : batterie
Kit Massey : violon

Rain and fire crossed that ocean
La pluie et le feu a traversé cet océan
Another mad man done struck again
Un autre fou fait encore frappé

Sitting down here fallout shelter
Assis ici abri antiatomique

Peindre mes murs, deux fois par semaine

Think about the slaves, long time ago
Pensez aux esclaves, il ya longtemps
Ten million slaves crossed that Ocean
Dix millions d'esclaves qui a traversé l'océan
They had shackles on Their Legs
Ils avaient entraves sur leurs pattes
Ten million slaves crossed that Ocean
Dix millions d'esclaves qui a traversé l'océan
They had Shackles on Their Legs
Ils avaient Manilles sur leurs pattes
Don't know where, where they're going
Je ne sais pas où, où ils vont
Don't know where, where they've been
Je ne sais pas où, où ils ont été
Don't know where, where they're going
Je ne sais pas où, où ils vont
Don't know where, where they've been
Je ne sais pas où, où ils ont été
Sun goes out, you'll be standing
Soleil va sortir, vous serez debout
You'll be standing by yourself
Vous serez debout par vous-même
Sun goes out, you'll be standing
Soleil va sortir, vous serez debout
You'll be standing by yourself
Vous serez debout par vous-même
Ten million slaves crossed that Ocean
Dix millions d'esclaves qui a traversé l'océan
They Had Shackles on their legs
Ils avaient Manilles sur leurs pattes
Ten million slaves crossed that Ocean
Dix millions d'esclaves qui a traversé l'océan
They had shackles on their legs
Ils avaient chaînes sur leurs jambes
Don't know where, where they're going
Je ne sais pas où, où ils vont
Don't know where, where they've been
Je ne sais pas où, où ils ont été
Don't know where, where they're going
Je ne sais pas où, où ils vont
Don't know where, where they've been
Je ne sais pas où, où ils ont été
Ten million slaves crossed that ocean
Dix millions d'esclaves traversé cet océan
They had shackles on their legs
Ils avaient chaînes sur leurs jambes
Food goes bad, food looks Rancid
Alimentaire va mal, la nourriture semble Rancid
But they ate it anyway
Mais ils l'ont mangé toute façon
Don't know where, where they're going
Je ne sais pas où, où ils vont
Don't know where, where they’ve been
Je ne sais pas où, où ils ont été
Don't know where, where they're going
Je ne sais pas où, où ils vont
Don't know where, where they've been
Je ne sais pas où, où ils ont été
Sun goes out, you'll be standing
Soleil va sortir, vous serez debout
You'll be standing all alone
Vous serez debout tout seul
Sun goes out, you'll be standing
Soleil va sortir, vous serez debout
You'll be standing all alone
Vous serez debout tout seul
All alone, all alone, all alone, all alone, all alone...
Tout seul, tout seul, tout seul, tout seul, tout seul ...
merci
Thanx merci

Watching Public Enemies years after its release because of the Johnny Depp trial, nice. Discovering this epic song in the process and the talent of Mr. Otis Taylor ,PRICELESS!!
This song really set the tone for the movie when “Pretty Boy” Charles Floyd is running through the orchard being chased by Melvin Purvis. I also loved it when it came back later in the movie. What a powerful song.
That was literally my favorite scene because the song made it so exciting. Made you feel like you were really experiencing pretty boy Floyd dying.
Exactement, tant le lieu que la musique sont originales et nous précipitent dans le film. Avec l’envie immédiate d’acheter la bande originale.
The Best performance of 10 million slaves by Otis Tylor
Beautiful performance of beautiful brown afroamerican musician...John Lee Hooker smiles and bows on you from heaven, Otis !
This is Blues Enough to me! Incredible guitar riff!

Love the Otis voice…Such a good, cool dude.
my all time favourite song❤
otis...your awsome... --- Love your music✌️✌️✌️
I was never able to get a good look at his fingers. I now see that he does the muted strum by doing an up-strum with the flesh of his finger. Never even thought of doing something like that. I might just have to use that in the future. Excellent banjo player.
Very good otis
Powerful story
Incredible song
Mr. Taylor you're a maestro ❤ utmost respect 💖🙂

Me viene a la mente jhonny dillinger atracando un banco
Some resemblance with music of Appaloosa starring Ed Harris ?
Muy buena !
monster
The violinist is pretty good.
Public Enemies take me here
My problem with the live versions of this song is that Otis typically introduces too many instruments into the mix. The song is best when it's gritty and minimalistic (electric banjo and bass) and not with lush instrumentation
What tuning is this?
A great crime of Homo sapiens the Real artist
It's good song but sorry it's an algérien music (sahara music) and who want to confirme listen to groupe of tiniarwin
