I follow a few DMZ players, you’re the first honest enough to show a series of deaths rather than the successful missions. Makes me feel better, as a solo player I’ve been killed so many times at the exfil by groups. I generally have all the gear and guns that a disgruntled postal worker could want, but I get flanked by a second or third player. It hurts, lol.
Yeah I was scrolling through DMZ content on TH-cam and did not find any channel that uploads their deaths.. only their succesful exfils. But that's just.. not realistic lol.. even the best die in games.. I don't want everyone to think I'm some sort of DMZ god who successfully extracts every run, cause that would be a lie!
I hear that lol I make videos and I put my deaths and have one short where the comments were roasting my aim because I panicked still got the team wipe but miss a ton of shots and they were right infront of me lol but it happens not every play is perfect max is better than most an he dies sometimes so it's good to see the other side of the games....makes us causal players feel better knowing it happens to everyone sometimes lol
Thanks dude! Yeah, especially solo is hard man.. just yesterday I built up a nice contraband stash (5 good weapons), lost them already haha.. now gonna drop in with only my mcpr300 and hopefully be able to build a nice stash again. Solo is frking intense.
It is so frustrating. Last Friday night for 5 hours it was death death death. Went from 18 contraband weapons to 6 then I just went in naked. Had 1 extract. Between not being able to find self res, A.I. and bad spawns. Just overall bad night. But as solo it happens.
I gave up on solo. The AI buff and out of world spawns. The loot quantity and loot worth nerf just made me quit for a while. I feel you man, some runs or even sessions can be very underwhelming.
@@thesoloenone8245 facts. So most of the time I go in naked, use what I find and try to extract. That way I don't loose anything and dont suffer from "gear fear". If I have a good run and get out with gear, then I go in with my insured and hunt squads. I have learned very quickly going in with insured and no gear is just a fast way to a 2 hour timer.
You call it frustrating but as I watch this I call it sweet revenge. Nothing worse than being solo minding my own business and trying to build up my kit for the next round only to be sniped at exfil. Of course I know that's what it's all about but it still sucks. So I feel your pain but from the other side. lol.. Great content keep it coming!

Yeah the AI can be a bit much at times. I like the challenge tho. What I dont like is that they can throw grenades as if they're in the NBA, they have perfect aim..
Exactly what we mean, me and my homies, they snipe from so far with shotguns and throw granades so accurate. . But anyways, still very cool game mode. Love your videos bro.. ive learned a lot from you and the way you play. Keep it up like that.
I died in a record of 30 seconds from the start of the DMZ. Someone was camping and had a precision strike. I was so upset that I just turned it off. Haven’t played it since.
Ooff yeah, getting killed that quickly is not something I'd enjoy either.. that said.. I really dont hold back.. I think I've killed someone yesterday within 5secs of the game starting😅

This video could not have come at a better time. Less than 15 minutes ago, just waiting to exfil with building 21 card and loads of other good stuff and bam, knocked down, had self revive asked to join team, but bang, shot dead. Not happy at all, steaming inside. Thus video makes me feel better that it happens to better players than me.

I find the best way to loot on the train is to be 90 degrees on the left or right side of what your trying to loot…. So imagine the train travelling north and south and loot from the west and east side of the crate…. Hope it helps
57:57 when you got ambushed from behind- I play on console, and when I’m DBNO like that i can hold down on the D-pad to “plead with enemy team” and they get a queue to revive you

@@flipmemax So far I've managed to kill juggernaut and exfiltrate with the weapon case solo 5 times, but failed several times at an exfiltration point with the weapon case and killed by campers. I let you imagine my frustration lol
You always take recon drones, but I haven't seen you use them once 😆 A couple times you've even been looting and need to replace something, and I'm yelling at my screen "Get rid of the damn drone!"
15:53 for the invite when your looking for players you have to be at least close range or the range where proximity chat picks up because everytime I do it from far they never get it. So it has to be done from at least close range.

You get some really good value out of your spotter scope, but I wonder if you would be better off with stims. You could probably have saved that first death by stimming while you ran to the truck. Love the content though, thanks for sharing! I mostly play solo myself, and I definitely die a lot. I try to avoid PvP for the most part. People are more willing to accept your request if you didn't shoot at them first. :)
I'm definitely not gonna bring stims in my loadout tho, spotter scopes are hard to find in Al Mazrah and stims are everywhere. I need to start picking them up more often and switch them when needed. Haha yeah people don't accept my requests 9/10 times cause I shoot at them first😋 ah well. And youre very welcome! Thanks for watching🙏
My top 3 most frustrating deaths. 1, doing contracts. 2, going for chemist/ weapons case. And last but not least 3, running into bots a min in and getting taken out.
Lol funny thing, my number one most frustrating death happened yesterday after uploading the vid.. I spawned in the village north of the police station, had 3 AI right in front of me.. when the timer hit 0 I silently killed them.. ran to a building, one AI saw me.. and suddenly blue armored AI swarmed me and recked me hard.. i think i was in that game for.. 3min 😅
Great videos, very enjoyable content 👍 What on earth made you decide to leave the exfil out to go after an armoured vehicle and the dudes there!? 😂 I mean it was great for content purposes, but, do you think you would do that ordinarily, or? Either way, very funny and cool. P.S I had a solo game yesterday. Had contraband, but went in with no weapons, one plate and a Molotov. Spawned in the north, went clockwise came up behind a full squad, all still working out where to go looking at their maps 😂 I panicked and threw the Moly at the front two and the guy nearest me started walked backwards towards me, down a rocky outcrop. I didn't know what to do so I started to melee. He had three plates of armour on and I slapped them all off 😂. He had a sniper in his hands and turned to face me as I downed him 😂. His two buddies didn't have a line of sight, so I killed the guy to try and take his gun. They then moved over this ridge and saw me, so I ran off/away but naked and they both missed all their shots 😂. I ran under a bridge and jumped into the river and swam off. I am just imagining what they thought, a guy with no gun took them all on in a fight and slapped one of them with three plated dead. 😂 😂 😂. They would have just revived him less his plates, but I must have psychologically damaged them 😂 I bet them thought they were lucky I didn't have a tube of toothpaste, otherwise I'd have fucked them all up 🤣

What's FAR worse...is when you spent a good chunk gathering a large backpack...3 plate carrier, self revive and great weapons WITH your insured slots as well...the game crashes loading INTO a game...and it takes all the weapons away...THAT...sucks worse.
That’s just how the DMZ rolls, luvin this game mode at the mo, even the insane ai. The only bad bit for me is being sniped while distracted doing a mission hmmm🤔
I feel ya. But that is the risk you take going into DMZ. Danger is always around the corner no matter what you're doing! I think that's quite a beautiful aspect of this gamemode..
Loving your DMZ Solo series as I usually play solo as well. I'm not a great player but IMHO Chapter 1 you should have not insisted in sniping without plates, Chapter 2 I think you made the correct decisions, just bad timing shooting the last enemy. Chapter 3 looks like they where waiting for somebody to approach the drop, you could have used the UAV before the move. Chapter 4 must have been from inside the helicopter which is dirty at least. If you are already exfiling why shoot others??? Really dirty :( and Chapter 5 well, you where already leaving and decided to drop from heli to have some fun but yeah, it was risky. I also learn from these videos. Keep it up!

I feel ya. I love DMZ but it is so broken. Playing solo is brutal. You literally can't move without running into a squad of AI that shoots at you through walls. The train is the only place to get geared solo because every locked space has impossible to kill blue armors. The moment AI renders it starts shooting at you. Then you find packs of 20 teir 2 AI that shred LTVs in an instant. If your lucky you might get a back pack of self revives and burn them just trying exfil. I burned 5 stims to get on a tower yesterday just to level a smiper then the AI that shredded me all disappeared. Don't dare look at your map when spawning in or you will die to toxic spawn campers. I wish they would make this game playable.
Solo is brutal yes, the AI are Terminators on steroids yes, and the game has a buckload of issues that really need to be fixed yes! I love DMZ aswell, but sometimes its a pain in the ass lol
Chapter 3 I was thinking noo, go up the tower and check the area 1st. Those supply drops are good for sniping teams, its a hot spot for them to go there
Self res shouldnt be that fast. It punishes players that kill people by forcing you to push before someone can revive themselves.. >_> And you shouldnt be able to stop a self res once you start it to let a team mate do it and not waste the self.. >_>

It’s mildly frustrating when playing solo and a squad flushes you immediately and then says, “yOu wAnNa jOiN.” Well MORONS you don’t get the opportunity to request after being you, being the whole squad, is dead. Other than that the only frustration I get is from deaths that aren’t deaths and the game freezing, kicking me out, and taking all my shit for their terrible servers issues
I'd 9:14 "they just went up on the building to shoot people." Yeah for me that's starting to be the problem with DMZ. I haven't had any problem with the pvp element in the beginning cause you could avoid it. But in the last week i've noticed it's lots of people in DMZ just playing battle royal really. Loot is meaningless. They are just trying to kill people. So i'm starting to get the annoyance.
There are 100% way more people actively hunting other players yes! As a solo its getting quite rough out there. I don't mind the challenge tho, but it does get quite frustrating when you die 6 times in a row when spawning in with random weapons, no backpack and only 1 plate.. I'm on quite the dying streak as we speak, looking at my recordings I died 12 times in a row now.. al pretty quickly after the game started.. can't seem to exfil🤣
39:15 the reason why it's not headshot is because Activision had it to where when you have a one plate vest 2 plate vest it's a one shot in the head but for 3 plate it leaves them on one hp with no plates so if you have a flash chuck it at the person you shot and it will kill them because the flash grenades deal 1 hp of damage. So you can finish the kill. Also it would take out your spotter scope so you could try using a simtex but you wouldn't be able to throw it to far like a flash.
i'm super close to quitting this. I play solo. And i exfil solo all the time. I don't have issues with other players. I avoid them. Right up until two days ago. I now have an 11 unsuccessful exfil streak going. The last 8 all killed by players during the game. I get hunts when i'm nowhere near a vehicle. I got airstiked at an exfil. I ran into a squad camping a house for me to walk in. It's crazy. I had to stop playing. It's not at all fun at the moment cause i all of a sudden get a hunt squad on me every game minutes in. I don't take weapons in. At 11 straight unsuccessful exfils it's just like tossing my 7 good contraband guns down a well.
Maybe this game isn’t for you. I personally love this game. I wish the AI was a little less aim bots but this has to be one of the best sniper games out there.
Yeah it's getting harder out there, especially as a solo! I think its great people are now actually starting to pvp. But sometimes it can get quite frustrating if you die a few times in a row bcuz a team was bloodthirsty.. that said, I do love the challenge. I am currently on a dying streak myself. But I'm actively thinking what I could do to counter the blood thirsty teams.. a break will never hurt ofc.. but I think its better to keep going and evaluate my gameplay to get better for the next run 🏃♂️
From what I experianced you can only loot when the train is going straight. Since your character is moving when the train turnes it sees it as you leaving the loot. train turn no loot. train straight loot.
I had a weapons case in my hands tonight after myself and 2 others fought it out at exfil and the helicopter was already there... and got shredded by f*****g AIs.
I enjoy the content. Do u do missions? Why not do the camping in Warzone and piss off those people? lol. Allot of people are bored of Warzone so they come to DMZ just to hunt people who are trying to do missions. Don't get me wrong I still enjoy seeing u go against a whole team. Wish we could hear their death chat! Lol
Haha yeah do missions too man, my most recent vid is the Mall Rat mission 👌👌 I'm not into BR games man, played them a lot in the past but my jam is Extraction Shooters! I love them. The Division's Darkzone is what made me a huge Extraction shooter fan. Escape from Tarkov is epic too, but the gameplay mechanics are too "clunky" for me.. so now that CoD finally has an Extraction shooter mode (DMZ) I'm in gaming heaven 😋

In regards to the Mtn that was barely rendered, maybe they went for some aesthetic realism? I've been in high alt desert mtns that were nearly baren of any plants, and nothing but a fine sand or " moon dust" as we call it. Makes some sense given the supposed geo location almazarah is set in. In reality tho, I can see a AAA game dev just checking the box to leave work early on a Friday, instead of actually making it look awesome
I think it's great for leveling up your weapons and XP but yeah it's super frustrating when you work hard on your faction missions and get taken out from behind on exfil.
The train… the fucking train! Fully kitted out with god tier stuff and a contract done for a perk, and then it tried to double mantle me onto the train when then mantled me under the train so no self res could save me. Needles to say I’m in a rebuilding phase in my life 🤦🏼♂️
Haha dude yeah the train is so frking bugged! I dont understand how they can make the train as bugged as it is.. its almost like art.. an unintentional disaster but its got everyone's interest😅
They shouldn't have a death cam, that just gives away your position if they get revived/picked back up. That's fine for multi-player but a mode like this, especially when u can be brought back from the dead, just shouldn't exist.
I’ve played 20-30 games and it’s gotten so much worse. The loot is terrible, the AI are so inconsistent. Ironically if did the money glitches early on I might be able to have fun.
Yeah unfortunately there's a lot of super slight non straight parts on the track, so it always slightly turns.. its frustrating. They gotta fix it. It worked perfectly before the last update
True, can be very frustrating especially when shot at :)... BTW, really appreciate your content, keep it up, playing mostly solo myself, by choice, because I love the challenge it brings even if way slower than when played with teammates, feeling of acomplishment when you manage to extract after a good run, small progress on tough mission or a few pvp kills, man, that's something else... And you definitely inspire me a lot to keep playing that way, so many many thanks !

@Gary Henderson i just tried something out that actually works to loot the train! Someone in the comments said we need to actively crawl forward when looting a box, and it works! Just lay down, open the box and crawl forward! The menu stays open!! And thanks dude! Much appreciated🙏 glad you're getting something out of my vids🔥👌

@@AJ-qs4vw sawah hotel, get there quick before all others. Loot. Get out. And exfil early so you won't have to deal with most players. Exfils get more crowded later in the game. The train is also a good option to regain gear quickly, but it does attract more players most of the time

@flipmemax You shouldn't feel frustrated because it was your decision to overstay your welcome in DMZ. You killed the guy in the truck without him even having spotted you, while driving. He should feel frustrated, not you! You decided to get out of the helo because your ego thought you are the best and can take on everyone else without a scratch. They felt frustrated and killed you. I was stalking a team, kept downing them.. they started to push me, so I repositioned.. downed 2 again.. then they sent out a request.. i accepted (first time ever) and no joke: one of the guys in that squad asked "are you the real flipmemax?" Haha! What a coincidence
I'm pretty sure u have to be fairly close to others to get the request to join. My buddy got an invitation when he was 15 meters away from me but I didn't.
@derek harrington yeah you can drop anything in the deaddrop, even if it doesnt have a price on it. You have any idea how much medium backpacks/2 plate vests are worth ?
In the first clip you said how no one ever joins you then in the very next clip someone sends you an invite and you said no to it. Then you get rolled up on by a whole squad and got smoked. If you would have excepted the players invite you would have had a much better chance to survive that squad roll in up on you. DMZ isn't all about killing everyone all the time.

Yeah the AI can be a bit much at times. I like the challenge tho. What I dont like is that they can throw grenades as if they're in the NBA, they have perfect aim..

I died in a record of 30 seconds from the start of the DMZ. Someone was camping and had a precision strike. I was so upset that I just turned it off. Haven’t played it since.

I find the best way to loot on the train is to be 90 degrees on the left or right side of what your trying to loot…. So imagine the train travelling north and south and loot from the west and east side of the crate…. Hope it helps

I had the same issue with a supply drop that ended up in the water, that you had with backpacks on the train.
15:53 for the invite when your looking for players you have to be at least close range or the range where proximity chat picks up because everytime I do it from far they never get it. So it has to be done from at least close range.

You get some really good value out of your spotter scope, but I wonder if you would be better off with stims. You could probably have saved that first death by stimming while you ran to the truck. Love the content though, thanks for sharing! I mostly play solo myself, and I definitely die a lot. I try to avoid PvP for the most part. People are more willing to accept your request if you didn't shoot at them first. :)
I'm definitely not gonna bring stims in my loadout tho, spotter scopes are hard to find in Al Mazrah and stims are everywhere. I need to start picking them up more often and switch them when needed. Lol funny thing, my number one most frustrating death happened yesterday after uploading the vid.. I spawned in the village north of the police station, had 3 AI right in front of me.. when the timer hit 0 I silently killed them.. ran to a building, one AI saw me.. and suddenly blue armored AI swarmed me and recked me hard.. i think i was in that game for.. 3min 😅

I had a solo game yesterday. Had contraband, but went in with no weapons, one plate and a Molotov. Spawned in the north, went clockwise came up behind a full squad, all still working out where to go looking at their maps 😂 I panicked and threw the Moly at the front two and the guy nearest me started walked backwards towards me, down a rocky outcrop. I didn't know what to do so I started to melee. He had three plates of armour on and I slapped them all off 😂. He had a sniper in his hands and turned to face me as I downed him 😂. His two buddies didn't have a line of sight, so I killed the guy to try and take his gun. They then moved over this ridge and saw me, so I ran off/away but naked and they both missed all their shots 😂. I ran under a bridge and jumped into the river and swam off. I am just imagining what they thought, a guy with no gun took them all on in a fight and slapped one of them with three plated dead. 😂 😂 😂. They would have just revived him less his plates, but I must have psychologically damaged them 😂

What's FAR worse...is when you spent a good chunk gathering a large backpack...3 plate carrier, self revive and great weapons WITH your insured slots as well...the game crashes loading INTO a game...and it takes all the weapons away...THAT...sucks worse.

Loving your DMZ Solo series as I usually play solo as well. I'm not a great player but IMHO Chapter 1 you should have not insisted in sniping without plates, Chapter 2 I think you made the correct decisions, just bad timing shooting the last enemy. Chapter 3 looks like they where waiting for somebody to approach the drop, you could have used the UAV before the move. Chapter 4 must have been from inside the helicopter which is dirty at least. If you are already exfiling why shoot others??? Really dirty :( and Chapter 5 well, you where already leaving and decided to drop from heli to have some fun but yeah, it was risky. I also learn from these videos. Keep it up!

I feel ya. I love DMZ but it is so broken. Playing solo is brutal. You literally can't move without running into a squad of AI that shoots at you through walls. The train is the only place to get geared solo because every locked space has impossible to kill blue armors. The moment AI renders it starts shooting at you. Then you find packs of 20 teir 2 AI that shred LTVs in an instant. If your lucky you might get a back pack of self revives and burn them just trying exfil. I burned 5 stims to get on a tower yesterday just to level a smiper then the AI that shredded me all disappeared. Don't dare look at your map when spawning in or you will die to toxic spawn campers. I wish they would make this game playable.
Solo is brutal yes, the AI are Terminators on steroids yes, and the game has a buckload of issues that really need to be fixed yes! I love DMZ aswell, but sometimes its a pain in the ass lol
Chapter 3 I was thinking noo, go up the tower and check the area 1st. Those supply drops are good for sniping teams, its a hot spot for them to go there

I'd 9:14 "they just went up on the building to shoot people." Yeah for me that's starting to be the problem with DMZ. I haven't had any problem with the pvp element in the beginning cause you could avoid it. But in the last week i've noticed it's lots of people in DMZ just playing battle royal really. Loot is meaningless. They are just trying to kill people. So i'm starting to get the annoyance.
There are 100% way more people actively hunting other players yes! As a solo its getting quite rough out there. I don't mind the challenge tho, but it does get quite frustrating when you die 6 times in a row when spawning in with random weapons, no backpack and only 1 plate.. I'm on quite the dying streak as we speak, looking at my recordings I died 12 times in a row now.. al pretty quickly after the game started.. can't seem to exfil🤣
39:15 the reason why it's not headshot is because Activision had it to where when you have a one plate vest 2 plate vest it's a one shot in the head but for 3 plate it leaves them on one hp with no plates so if you have a flash chuck it at the person you shot and it will kill them because the flash grenades deal 1 hp of damage. So you can finish the kill. Also it would take out your spotter scope so you could try using a simtex but you wouldn't be able to throw it to far like a flash.
The reason you couldn’t loot on the train is because it was turning wait until it’s moving straight

i'm super close to quitting this. I play solo. And i exfil solo all the time. I don't have issues with other players. I avoid them. Right up until two days ago. I now have an 11 unsuccessful exfil streak going. The last 8 all killed by players during the game. I get hunts when i'm nowhere near a vehicle. I got airstiked at an exfil. I ran into a squad camping a house for me to walk in. It's crazy. I had to stop playing. It's not at all fun at the moment cause i all of a sudden get a hunt squad on me every game minutes in. I don't take weapons in. At 11 straight unsuccessful exfils it's just like tossing my 7 good contraband guns down a well.
Maybe this game isn’t for you. I personally love this game. I wish the AI was a little less aim bots but this has to be one of the best sniper games out there.
Yeah it's getting harder out there, especially as a solo! I think its great people are now actually starting to pvp. But sometimes it can get quite frustrating if you die a few times in a row bcuz a team was bloodthirsty.. that said, I do love the challenge. I am currently on a dying streak myself. But I'm actively thinking what I could do to counter the blood thirsty teams.. a break will never hurt ofc.. but I think its better to keep going and evaluate my gameplay to get better for the next run 🏃♂️

From what I experianced you can only loot when the train is going straight. Since your character is moving when the train turnes it sees it as you leaving the loot. train turn no loot. train straight loot.
I had a weapons case in my hands tonight after myself and 2 others fought it out at exfil and the helicopter was already there... and got shredded by f*****g AIs.

Haha yeah do missions too man, my most recent vid is the Mall Rat mission 👌👌 I'm not into BR games man, played them a lot in the past but my jam is Extraction Shooters! I love them. The Division's Darkzone is what made me a huge Extraction shooter fan. Escape from Tarkov is epic too, but the gameplay mechanics are too "clunky" for me.. so now that CoD finally has an Extraction shooter mode (DMZ) I'm in gaming heaven 😋

In regards to the Mtn that was barely rendered, maybe they went for some aesthetic realism? I've been in high alt desert mtns that were nearly baren of any plants, and nothing but a fine sand or " moon dust" as we call it. Makes some sense given the supposed geo location almazarah is set in. In reality tho, I can see a AAA game dev just checking the box to leave work early on a Friday, instead of actually making it look awesome
I think it's great for leveling up your weapons and XP but yeah it's super frustrating when you work hard on your faction missions and get taken out from behind on exfil.
The train… the fucking train! Fully kitted out with god tier stuff and a contract done for a perk, and then it tried to double mantle me onto the train when then mantled me under the train so no self res could save me. Needles to say I’m in a rebuilding phase in my life 🤦🏼♂️

Yeah unfortunately there's a lot of super slight non straight parts on the track, so it always slightly turns.. its frustrating. They gotta fix it. It worked perfectly before the last update

@Gary Henderson i just tried something out that actually works to loot the train! Someone in the comments said we need to actively crawl forward when looting a box, and it works! @@AJ-qs4vw sawah hotel, get there quick before all others. Loot. Get out. And exfil early so you won't have to deal with most players. Exfils get more crowded later in the game. The train is also a good option to regain gear quickly, but it does attract more players most of the time

I was stalking a team, kept downing them.. they started to push me, so I repositioned.. downed 2 again.. then they sent out a request.. i accepted (first time ever) and no joke: one of the guys in that squad asked "are you the real flipmemax?" Haha! What a coincidence

In the first clip you said how no one ever joins you then in the very next clip someone sends you an invite and you said no to it. Then you get rolled up on by a whole squad and got smoked. If you would have excepted the players invite you would have had a much better chance to survive that squad roll in up on you. DMZ isn't all about killing everyone all the time.
