As a Bills fan, I love this. Same we've heard the last 3yrs. 6-6 start last year, "Bills are done. No way they make it to the offseason". And we went on to kick the absolute dog shit out of the supposed juggernaut Dallas, as well as Miami & KC while winning 6 of 7 games and the AFC East again. Curious what Diggs did in those 7 games? 1 TD and 0 100yd games. He averaged around 45yds. Gabe was even worse. Who stepped up? James Cook, Khalil Shakir, and Dalton Kincaid. A 2nd yr, a 3rd yr, and a rookie. All still on the team, btw. Added Curtis Samuel (never had good QBs), Mack Hollis (youtube him, he's a dog), MVS for the deep ball, and Keon Coleman who was a top 10 draft pick until his "slow" 40yd dash. Kid just turned 21 and until this year was concentrating on 2 college sports (both of which he had full ride scholarships). And I'll throw it out there again: he's never had consistent, good QB play. I'll be checking back in January to point out how poorly your take has aged.

I kinda believe Diggs did very little on purpose. He wanted out so he gave them a reason to get him out.
Brother, you’re 100% coping. The Bills may be a playoff caliber team, & that’s great, the Bills will be solid, but that’s as good as it gets in Buffalo for the foreseeable future. No one, & I mean absolutely NOBODY in the afc is concerned with the Bills, because there are several other bigger fish to be worried about. Only a Bills fan would consider the Bills a top 5 team in the afc going into 2024

Everyone is mad at us for cutting our old, expensive, and injured players. Everyone says our window is closed but no one acknowledges how close all of our playoff games were. We never got blown out this year. And diggs was dropping balls in the playoffs we got got Keon Coleman now. We also have mvs who doesn’t drop balls in the playoffs.
so the bills "key departures" are two safeties who lost a step and never mention the draft pick Cole Bishop who is an answer to replace one the them. Tre White hasn't played a full season since 2020. Bills were just fine ending the season with Benford/Douglas as their two corners. Bills are moving towards a more balanced approach with the run game. its a "everyone eats" with different of skillsets in the receiver room. Diggs regressive under Joe Brady and yet bills went 7-2 and won the division AGAIN

Other than Diggs, the most important peices of the offense are still on the team. Diggs disappeared in the 2nd half of the season and people dont seem to be looking at the nuance there and how the offense actually got better and more productive when we weren't forcing the ball to Diggs to placate him. Sports analysts take the 1000 yard surface view and miss the minutia of the team, they see things so black and white and binary, like, (No Diggs/No Poyer=Winning go bye-bye) the offense will evolve and Allen will keep the ship floating until the new sailors can be trained.

Diggs helped, but one of the biggest factors in Allen's momentum rise starting in the 2020 season is that during that off season, going into the 2020 season is Josh went actually fixed his mechanics working from that off season forward with Jordan Palmer. His accuracy and ball placement achieved a level i didnt think it could. His training with Palmer was the single biggest factor in that growth.
Fear is a personal thing. If you think your team can lose to the bills you have no choice but to fear them. These same conversation we’re going on last year and yet here we are. Now if your a guy who’s team never makes the playoffs just stop because you should fear every team. Unless you’re the chiefs and even the chiefs aren’t the same you should be worried that the bills may ruin your season

Do you not realize that the Bills had a Top 10 defense missing a large chunk of their Defensive starters for a good amount of games.
Tre White has missed the last 2 years. 26/34 games he’s missed. Jordan Poyer was getting beat over the top last year, he was a glorified nickel slot corner. Milano injured, Hyde was in and out. Ed Oliver was in and out.
They replaced these guys with younger proven talent. Mike Edwards, Taylor Rapp, Nick Morrow, Deon Jones, Dawuane Smoot. Emergence of Terrel Bernard. Hungry rookie too in Cole Bishop.
Their D will be top 10 again.
Also Diggs production went from averaging around 900 yards and 5 tds per year in 6 years in Minnesota to 1300 yards and 9tds per year in Buffalo.
I mean atleast the Bills have built the team up before and we’ve seen it. They turned Cole Beasley and John brown into 1k WRs. They draft well and bring in starting talent year after year. I bet no one knows the Bills have 3 of the top 13 CBs. Prolly one of the best pair of linebacker in tackles and coverage. James cook was RB4 in All purpose yards. They cut the guys who weren’t performing.
Cole Beasley got an all pro with josh. the Brown/Beas wr combo at 5'10"(even diggs at 6ft) is gone and now all the WR's are 6'3" and make hands catches.
Diggs and Davis are big losses but Claypool and Samuel are good cheap additions. Keon and Claypool will be used to block a lot. I predict a run/ screen heavy scheme. Screens going to cook, Gore and Kincaid. Ray Davis will be used between the tackles. Possibly some 2 tight end sets, and Allen will be running the ball more than ever. Claypool and Curtis Samuel are actually both decent ball carriers too. Look at their average yards per carry.
Oh boy lol the window is never closed with Allen. All those guys gone were OLD & BEAT, constantly injured, they’re far better this upcoming season than last. They’re younger and better!

The Bills will better. Losing Diggs is addition by subtraction. They’re going to be younger on defense by losing old and aging DBs. Their offense will have no distractions. Shakir, Coleman, Kincaid, Samuel, Cook and Davis provide them with different skill sets to do anything they want on offense.
So since Davis And Diggs did nothing in the last quarter of 2022 into 2023, Buffalo Bills fans know that the future is not with digs or with Davis.Or with poyer or with tredavious white... As a bills fan these takes are very flawed and it’s ok I’m sure you don’t follow the team closely enough to know the details so Ill agree that the outside things like losing receivers like diggs and Davis with no star replacement seem terrible but looking at the team as whole guys like Kincaid will now get way more targets than before and his potential is kelce level and we’ve seen rookie wide receivers start balling from jump like jj and ceedee for example and let’s not forget that shakir was our top receiver going down the stretch last year so I disagree we will be better this season in my opinion 🤷🏾♂️

Don't think so. Poyer and Hyde did not play as much this season. White hardly at all....Milano will be back and the rest of the linebacker core stepped up last season. Diggs did not get a playoff touchdown, and took himself out of a lot of games. The new offensive look is solid with balanced running and pass games.

The Bills Defense in the postseason gives up 26 points per game. (That’s equivalent to 3rd worst during the regular season the past 2 years)

Bills ran out Isiah Mckenzie and Gabe Davis behind Diggs two years ago. The same idiots who are saying the Bills window is closed now thought somehow that was a good receiver core two years ago.
Facts. Hyde and Poyer are multiple years removed from being pro bowlers or above avg. Floyd had one sack his last 10 games. Bills backup DTs were awful and always injured. Gave Davis with Allen as his QB and Diggs opposite him never put up anything resembling respectability. Morse was a pass blocking centre only. Diggs had 1 TD and 380 yards his last 8 games.
Bills will be just fine. Too many NBA fans on TH-cam trying to pass off that they actually follow rhe NFL. At least quote reputable NFL Podcasts who are saying the complete opposite of ESPN and FOXSPORTS when it comes to the Bills.

These windows are closing videos are tiresome. I'm a Chiefs fan and I still fear the Bills more than any other team. They got rid of some aging, lackadaisical talent and will replace with young hungry talent. As long as they have Josh Allen they are a superbowl contender. You wanna stay in the top tier in the NFL you have to be a little ruthless. Replace guys who have been great for you before ever giving them a third contract. Unless of course they are playing at a hall of fame level and won't try to break the bank as they near 30.
