So impressed with this content! Your guests are fantastic, and the interviewing style is so well suited. You give them a complex question on their expertise and then actually allow them to answer in detail. Your follow-up questions draw from your own experiences and get so much out of the guest. Many thanks, love from South Africa!
I’m not a setter but it’s always good to learn skills outside of my comfort zone. I want to be an all-round player and spiking and setting are the hardest struggle for me. I’ve been well practicing blocking, serving and receiving and getting better results everytime I play. I’m a middle blocker so it’s always nice if I can catch our opponents off-guard. I’ve learn so much from this interview and I’ll try to apply them.
As a setter the coach said i need to be the big dog.. its gonna be first time joining a team n having a coach now i understand better what the coach meant, like i need to run the team,it was my first time training with new players but rest assured I'll be this big dog ill work on it lol i need to know their names first 🤣🤣because the setter holds the game....this is great content.
Love the format! As potential interview candidates I’d love to see Kaziskiy, Zaytsev or Lipé. They’re all established players. It’d be interesting to see what players are willing to commit to to still be able to play at this age. If the topic were serving, Zaytsev must be a must. And if we’re talking middle blockers Simon, Podrascanin, Loser and Chinenyeze would be great candidates.
Thank you for all your content, but this is the exact video I needed. I'm a very new setter and still learning a lot so hearing a guy like Micah talk about his craft is a privilege and a huge help. Thank you for this video!
Same, been trying to slowly gear myself to be a Setter; just got home from a Volleyball Tourney Weekend. OVerall I had some good sets and plays; but still have a ton ways to go and am going to take some time to study film with a more specific purpose (i.e. set with a more specific direction, know when to bump set vs trying to force a hand set, and stop committing lifts so often). Thanks for your work to put this channel together too!
Great video. Thanks a lot. Nice idea to have a such interview. Speaking with a setter, there is one thing everybody forgets- a ball. Its quality. As for me as old man is important visual qualities of the ball. When poor - then volleyball is almost unwatchable on screens. The new - white /blue Volar 100 , used in Ru, where MCh is playing looks pretty good on screens. As for athlets are important also other qualities of voll balls. What is its physical qualities like? Pity, this topic was not mentioned. Can Volar be compared with an official, "universal" Fivb one? What are differences? Note: In my opinion the best recognizable and contrast on screens for last decade have had - India Prime volley league ball Cosco , and Brasil Penalty Pro 7.0.
Hi, what program are you using to record web interview? This looks much better than Zoom or Skype recording. I appreciate your job. Regards from Poland :)

I am using Riverside👍😉
Destroyed by pipe is crazy 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 ayo 😂😂 sorry had to do it🤣🤣🤣
You are laughing😀 but I remember when Brazil with Giba and Dante destroyed us at WCH with pipe😉so it is real👍
usa's best setter
👍😉
Good content, but it might be nice for the host to get a better webcam, your framerate is horrendous 😅
I see, we had some connection issues due to 4000km distance😉
So it’s not you watch the ball and then decide, it’s your planning ahead and do what you thought😮
It is both😀 As a setter you need to be prepared well, but also immediately react👍😉
