Fun fact, the rain you see on release is pure spiritual matter. Ulquiorra has so much spiritual pressure, that it clumps together and takes physical form. That rain... is pure reishi. In bleach the theme of rain is that it is an omen that bad things are/have/will happen.... So his release state causing it to rain is an immediate tone shift; where ichigo seemed like he was on equal footing, and almost overpowering ulquiorra, that shot of his power raining down on ichigos parade says "nope...this is about to be a bad time"
The poor dude could barely keep up with base Ulquiorra after all these power boosts. R1 and R2 made him into a glorified ragdoll until White came out 😂
Remember when Ichigo fought Byakuya, Byakuya told Ichigo his own spiritual pressure was crushing his bones. Imagine what it would do to Orihime and she's not nearly as strong as Ichigo was in the first fight.
I love you caught that a second stage release would indeed make him stronger than number one. I remember seeing this for the first time and ulquiorra always scared the shit outta me. I always felt there was something special about him even tho he was "only" number 4.
there are arguments that he is up there with yammy even without 2nd stage release, and with 2nd stage release, he is 100% up there with yammy arguably even above
You should've saw based on strength ulquiorra is ranked 4. R1 Harribel> R1 Ulquiorra >base harribel >base ulquiorra. Release of espada 4 and above are too powerful and capable of destroying las noches and forbidden to release under the ceiling. Ulquiorra said even if you managed to defeat there are 3 espadas above me. It was kinda bad writing and scaling. Harribel literally one shot Toshiro, Base barragan negg diffing soifon and Stark was fighting shunsui the next head captain if top 3 espadas defeated the captains aizen wouldn't have been able to flex his power and look cool and strong as a protagonist in writing wise that's probably top 3 espadas are so nerfed and downplayed.
Saying an extra Release places Ulquiorra above Number 1 is like saying that Released Aaroniero is above Base Grimmjow. Not only is there no basis, but this particular example we know to be ridiculous.
maybe you just forget about first time orihime heal ichigo after ichigo's chest get stab by ulquiora, orihime indeed can't do nothing at that time, even orihime herself said that.
The first stage of a Zanpakuto is shikai and the second one is bankai. There are no other stages after that aside from maybe fusing with your own sword if you count that
theyre numbers where given by the amount of spiritual pressure they have, but its a very minimal increase from numbers 4 and above,its even said in the manga, a second release was never taken into acount when they where given theyre ranks.
@@Kal911 no theyre not, theyre release are also taken into acount not just theyre base level,and from number 4 and above the difference isnt that high compared to the other lower numbers, stark baragan and haribel had more reiatsu then ulquiorra, but no one took into acount a second release,no one tought it could be an option not even aizen.

Slight spoilers for the next arc... It's crazy seeing Ichigo so resilient and defiant of Ulquiorra. He knows how much stronger Ulquiorra is, yet he still is standing there fighting. Crazy parallels when you think of how he reacts to Aizen
If we don't count Aizen's knowledge of Ichigo then Ulquiorra was for sure a more scary opponent at the time, Ichigo just barely managed to cut base Ulquiorra while later on he cuts Aizen quite severely, even if it was a surprise attack
@@furiousdestroyah9999 Since anyone looking at these comments are now expecting spoilers (massive spoilers ahead), what I was specifically referring to was how completely terrified Ichigo was to fight Aizen by the time Aizen left through the Senkaimon. He was lowering his sword, kneeling in despair upon feeling Aizen's Spiritual Pressure. Here he is standing up to a vastly superior foe, Ulquiorra, yet later on he can't will himself to do it. Never thought about it before, but it shows how much more terrifying Aizen is. Either Aizen gets to him mentally or Ichigo was subconsciously affected by his fight with Ulquiorra; I'd bet on the former, but it could be both (fear of releasing the form shown in this episode)

U two lost hope when ulquira show his murcielago like using logic ichigo is zero chance of winning but when ulquira show his segunda etapa to show ichigo what "despair" look like both of u too feeling in despair, but ichigo did not still give up.

You should've saw based on strength ulquiorra is ranked 4. R1 Harribel> R1 Ulquiorra >base harribel >base ulquiorra. Release of espada 4 and above are too powerful and capable of destroying las noches and forbidden to release under the ceiling. Ulquiorra said even if you managed to defeat there are 3 espadas above me. It was kinda bad writing and scaling. Harribel literally one shot Toshiro, Base barragan negg diffing soifon and Stark was fighting shunsui the next head captain if top 3 espadas defeated the captains aizen wouldn't have been able to flex his power and look cool and strong as a protagonist in writing wise that's probably top 3 espadas are so nerfed and downplayed.

It's crazy seeing Ichigo so resilient and defiant of Ulquiorra. He knows how much stronger Ulquiorra is, yet he still is standing there fighting. Crazy parallels when you think of how he reacts to Aizen
If we don't count Aizen's knowledge of Ichigo then Ulquiorra was for sure a more scary opponent at the time, Ichigo just barely managed to cut base Ulquiorra while later on he cuts Aizen quite severely, even if it was a surprise attack
@@furiousdestroyah9999 Since anyone looking at these comments are now expecting spoilers (massive spoilers ahead), what I was specifically referring to was how completely terrified Ichigo was to fight Aizen by the time Aizen left through the Senkaimon. He was lowering his sword, kneeling in despair upon feeling Aizen's Spiritual Pressure.
Here he is standing up to a vastly superior foe, Ulquiorra, yet later on he can't will himself to do it. Never thought about it before, but it shows how much more terrifying Aizen is. Either Aizen gets to him mentally or Ichigo was subconsciously affected by his fight with Ulquiorra; I'd bet on the former, but it could be both (fear of releasing the form shown in this episode)
