Considering these were one of the cheapest cars in their day they were one of the best made,hence why so many have survived and many still in original condition.
Perhaps one of the blandest cars of the 1950s even compared to a Morris Minor or Ford Prefect. There were now American looking British cars then from Ford and Vauxhall like the Zodiac and Cresta.

My Late Father had one and One day I started when the car was on first gear I was 6 years old. Golden memories. Lovely Looking car.
Black was a colour that suited cars like the Standard 10 model. This particular car is in pristine condition..

In my boyhood I have seen this car. Doctors were using this car. On the road upto 1990.
nice.....I remember these, they were common during the 60s when I was a young lad,also the pennant which was a kind of dressed up version.
